Blackburn just wrapped filming Roswell, New Mexico, which is currently airing its fourth and final season on the CW. Blackburn, who garnered a massive following on social media, is maybe best known for his role as the dark and mysterious Caleb Rivers in Pretty Little Liars, a performance which earned him two consecutive Teen Choice Awards. His success on the show led to his own spinoff series, Ravenswood.

Exclusive: Marshall Cook (Film Fest) will direct Champions of the Universe, a new film starring Will Sasso (Loudermilk), which he and the actor wrote together.
Pic tells the story of a former college football star (Sasso) who misguides his elite athlete son while diluting himself in a small town flag football rivalry with his son’s stepfather.
Financing for the project is being put up by Anamorphic Media Inc. The company’s Founder & CEO Sara Shaak will produce, alongside Cook and Sasso.
Two-time Academy Award winner Peter Farrelly is also on board as an executive producer. Cast announcements and additional details on the project will follow.

Bobby Farrelly (Dumb And Dumber) has signed on to direct One Night Stan for Mark Damon’s Foresight Unlimited. The comedy follows Stan, a serial commitment-phobe, who falls hard for a beautiful girl named Amy. When he decides to change his ways, he discovers that Amy has her own ideas about relationships.
The script is written by Kevin Barnett (Heartbreak Kid), Chris Pappas, and Mike Bernier. Producers are Bobby Farrelly, Foresight’s Mark Damon, Serafini Pictures’ Susanne Bohnet (New York, I Love You), with Peter Farrelly, Foresight’s Tamara Birkemoe, Shaun Redick, Raymond Mansfield and Grant Cramer executive producing.
Foresight Unlimited is handling international sales and will introduce the film at Berlin’s Efm in February.

Tyler Blackburn (Pretty Little Liars) and Jaimie Alexander (Thor) have signed with Mosaic‘s David Fleming and Tory Howard for management. Blackburn has been on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars since the end of its first season playing the role of Caleb Rivers and is set to topline Liars‘ upcoming spinoff Ravenswood premiering in October. Blackburn is also represented by Gersh, Viewpoint PR and attorneys Cindy Gesner and Jamie Feldman. Alexander earned a cult following for playing the warrior Sif in Thor and will reprise her role in Thor: The Dark World out this November. The first confirmed resident of ABC Family‘s Ravenswood is bad boy Caleb Rivers. Pretty Little Liars co-star Tyler Blackburn will be joining the series’ upcoming spinoff. The series hails from the same auspices as Pretty Little Liars: Warner Horizon, Alloy and executive producers Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick and Joseph Dougherty. The new series takes place in Ravenswood, a town near Liars‘ hometown of Rosewood Pa, and revolves around five strangers who are connected by the curse that has plagued Ravenswood for generations. Caleb (Blackburn) will travel to Ravenswood in the third annual Liars Halloween special in October, which will be used to introduce Ravenswood and its inhabitants and launch the new series.
