An American voyager attempting to solve the heartbreaking mystery of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has stumbled upon a piece of wreckage off the Mozambique coast that could be a clue to help determine the enigma. Blaine Gibson, a 58-year-old lawyer from Seattle, Washington, has spent the past year traveling across the Indian Ocean - from the Maldives to Mauritius to Myanmar - searching for leads on the March, 8, 2014, flight with 239 passengers that disappeared from radar en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. On February 27, Gibson hired a boat captain to take him to the Paluma sandbar, a half-dozen miles from the coastal town of Vilankulos,...

Happy birthday, Blaine!
Darren Criss won our hearts pretty much the day we first met him at Dalton Academy belting out pop songs in his crisp navy blue and red blazer. In honor of the Glee star's 28th birthday, we're celebrating his 8 best Glee performances. This was somewhat hard to do because pretty much Every Darren Criss performance is amazing.
But we persevered and here is the ranking of our favorites:
News: We Never Stopped Believing — How 'Glee' Finally Got Its Groove Back!
8. Don't Stop Me Now - Queen
Yeah. Darren Criss + Queen should pretty much be illegal.
7. All of Me - John Legend
Real talk: Klaine Forever.
6. It's Time - Imagine Dragons
This moving performance from Blaine to Kurt is what taught us that if you love something you have to let it go.
5. I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You - Black Kids

Why ask a magic mirror who the fairest is when you can just make a pass at every royal maiden in the land? That's the logic that propelled Blaine Gibson during a recent trip to Disney World. The Austin, Texas, man decided that typical tourist photos wouldn't cut it, so he skipped out to Walmart, bought a cheap ring, and tweeted photos of himself proposing to every Disney Princess he could find. The result? Some princess expressions of surprise, retweets aplenty and a little bit of Internet infamy. So I brought an engagement ring to Disney World and proposed to...

Blaine Gibson doesn't love Cinderella. He just loves the idea of Cinderella. Actually, any Disney princess will do, really. Hence, why he proposed to all of them—every single one and then some—while visiting Disney World. As for the ring? He went to Jared Walmart! Who would have thought this would turn into a real-life (kinda) love story? To Rapunzel: To Ariel: To Jasmine: To Tinkerbell: And even to Gaston: Who was probably a homophobe in the movie anyway. (And before you complain in the comments, we know Gaston is not technically a Disney prince, but he has great hair and works at Disney World, so we rounded up.) In the end,...

Forty-eight hours before I settled in to watch last night’s Glee finale, I was sitting in the Big Thunder Ranch Main Stage at Disneyland, awaiting a high-school choir performance. This wasn’t a planned study in contrasts or anything — just a weird, happy coincidence. There was a beleaguered adult accompanist. There were sequins and show faces and lifts. As we clapped along to an even-more-enthusiastic-than-the-original (such a thing is apparently possible) cover of “Happy,” my friend leaned over to me and asked, “So, is this what Glee is like?” I almost said yes, reflexively, but then for the millionth time in the past several weeks, it hit me: No. Glee is something different now. But we’ll get to that.Given Darren Criss’s wheelhouse, Glee doesn’t give us Blaine behind a piano nearly often enough, and as he sings “All of Me,” it’s hard not to...

Happy 80th birthday, Shirley MacLaine!
The legendary, award-winning actress, who was born April 24, 1934 in Richmond, Va, started out as a dancer and got her big break on Broadway. She made her first film with Alfred Hitchcock, became a Rat Pack regular, flirted briefly with politics but has never stopped acting as she enters her 7th decade in Hollywood.
She started off as a lovably kooky ingenue, but is known today for her cantankerous matriarch roles in "Downton Abbey," "Bernie," "Steel Magnolias," "Guarding Tess," and, of course, her Oscar-winning role as Aurora Greenway in "Terms of Endearment."
Her next gig is a singing and dancing role on "Glee," of course. Happy Birthday to one of the most talented, most colorful character actresses of all time.
1. She was named after Shirley Temple.
2. She's been performing since age 3, when she began doing ballet.
3. As a girl, she pretended she was Rita Hayworth, since...

When Glee first debuted in 2009, the Fox series incorporated music in a way that hadn’t been seen on television before. Without any big-name stars in the cast, the show was a definite risk. Now, more than five years and 100 episodes later, the risk has more than paid off. With a 3-D film, sold-out concert tours, millions of albums sold, and Billboard records broken, the cast and crew got together in Hollywood on Tuesday night — the same night the show’s 100th episode aired – with plenty to celebrate. EW was on the scene and asked the cast to look back...

Warning: If you haven’t seen tonight’s episode of Glee, you might want to stop reading now. Everyone else, carry on.
Okay, deep breaths. Has everyone recovered enough from tonight’s gut-wrenching Glee that we can get around to the business of discussing it?

I understand that question, but the...

Chris Colfer finally talked about "The Breakup," and while we have serious issues about his assertion that he was the ugly half of a power couple, we are curious with his speculation as the what the future holds for Kurt. "I'm just really excited to see what the future holds for him in general. Whether that means dating one person or a few over the course of the season, I just want to see him live and be his own person. He had a really bad year last season so it's been nice to see him spread his wings."

Glee‘s Season 2 finale was kind of like a New York City sidewalk: Fast-moving and crowded, with equal bursts of excitement, irritation, surprise, and confusion. Absent from the roll call: Sue Sylvester (reportedly recovering from last week’s sudden case of Characterus Reversalus); April Rhodes (on an extended dinner break from rehearsing her Crossrhodes musical); and Dave Karofsky (whose fascinating struggle with sexual orientation will have to wait till September…Unless Fox wants to create some kind of darkly awesome online summer series starring Max Adler?)

Let's see. From Finn and Rachel we got lip service. Brittany and Santana, disservice. And with Kurt and Blaine, a little bit of last-minute fanservice.
I'm kind of despondent right now, so I'm half-tempted to just send in that paragraph as my recap, but I haven't been abducted by a cab driver hearing voices like I was three weeks ago, or trapped in a hotel room in Laramie, Wyoming like I was two weeks ago. So I'm gonna have to overcome my sadness at the end of Season Two, and the lack of focus on the storylines that touch my heart the most, and recap this sucker.

Fox The cast of “Glee.”
They made it! They competed at Nationals in New York and walked off, just shy of competing with the top 10 in Glee’s second-season finale, “New York.”
Nothing can compare to the “City That Never Sleeps,” especially when it doesn’t serve only as a background, but rather the star in the firmament of teenage dreams.
New York calls out to artists and serves as inspiration to troubled minds, who’ve been stuck on singing about cups and mattresses.

It’s prom night, but unfortunately Eric Stoltz doesn’t bring in Sissy Spacek to murder everyone. Luckily, Will is absent for most of the episode and Sue only shows up in small doses. The gang attends their barely-chaperoned junior prom and I refuse to believe none of them are seniors. Quinn, Santana and Lauren lose prom queen, as they should since they’re in glee and at the apparent bottom of the social barrel, but the winner is a mortified Kurt. Dave and Santana refuse to leave their closets (must be awful nice in there) while Artie mopes over not having Brittany.

Last night Air Supply canceled their gig at the McKinley High junior prom, so the New Directions kids filled in.
First up, Jesse St. James (Jonathan Groff) returns to duet with Rachel (Lea Michelle) on Adele's "Rolling In The Deep." These two sound great together.
Next, Artie (Kevin McHale) tries to patch things up with Brittany by wooing her in Home Ec class with Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely."
Puck (Mark Salling) and Sam (Chord Overstreet) kick off their prom set with Rebecca Black's "Friday." And it's far better than you might imagine.
Rachel really darkens the otherwise festive mood with Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts.” Beautiful, but seemed a bit of a downer for a prom.
Next page! Blaine and Santana rock the house.
Blaine (Darren Criss) horns in on the stage, with Black Kids’ “I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You.

As a (mostly) adult man in my late 30s, my junior-prom memories are stored safely in a dusty lockbox with my Edie Brickell and New Bohemians cassettes and some VHS tapes of old Moonlighting episodes. So it’s pretty impressive that Tuesday night’s episode of Glee managed to vividly remind an Oldie Oldenstein like me of the thrills and heartbreaks and insecurities that kids experience as they pair up, dress up, and stress out for this magically overblown rite of passage.

Put on your cummerbund, grab your corsage and hang on tight, ’cause ‘we, we, we so excited’ for Glee’s bat-crazy prom night during “Prom Queen.”
That bit of lyric from Rebecca Black’s inane, idiotic autotuned song “Friday” got a treatment so … darn good and infectious that you just have to tip your hat to Artie, Sam and Puck for starting prom night jumpin’. While we're gearing up for "Glee's" "Prom Queen" episode, it's probably a good idea to prep by listening to the episode's songs obsessively. That way, we'll all be able to sing along by the time Tuesday (May 10) rolls around.
We've already shared Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff's take on Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" and the cast's inevitable cover of Rebecca Black's "Friday," but listen to a few more cuts from the show below.
First, Santana and Mercedes take on a prom essential, Abba's "Dancing Queen":

Artie, hot off his awesome acoustic cover of "Fleetwood Mac's" "Never Going Back Again," gives Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" (for Brittany?) similar treatment:

Five stars for Glee's "Born This Way" episode and only because I'm not allowed to give it more. After reading a lot of criticism following last week's episode I have to believe that those left wanting had their prayers answered this week.
Spontaneous songs were back! I don't care if you are a Jackie or Marilyn, Peggy or Joan, Rachel and Quinn's I Feel Pretty/Unpretty mash-up was amazing. The choice of songs was made even more spectacular when we later learned about Quinn's past life as Lucy Caboosey.
While I could have done without the creepy child pageant scene, Lauren played a necessary evil this week as she was instrumental in exposing Quinn's past.
Great Carrie reference from Quinn, by the way, when she mused about Lauren being soaked in pigs blood in front of the entire school.
Speaking of potential humiliation before an entire student body, Kurt's...

Great Carrie reference from Quinn, by the way, when she mused about Lauren being soaked in pigs blood in front of the entire school.
Speaking of potential humiliation before an entire student body, Kurt's...

These are big, big Glee spoilers. Most of it you knew, even if you didn’t “know.” It has to be this way to move the plot forward. Still, majorly spoilery. But also, the Kurt/Blaine stuff makes me very happy.
WWE is going to partner with GLAAD to embed anti-bullying messaging into their shows, which are marketed as PG entertainment. While the dialog between WWE and GLAAD began after homophobic remarks (scripted, mind you) by John Cena, I’m happy they’re trying this. I just wish I knew how you made professional wrestling “anti-bully.”
Quentin Tarantino is suing his neighbor over his “intolerably loud macaws.” This is not, despite all appearances, viral marketing for the release of Rio.
Nick Youngquest has teamed up with Nous Model Management to “Defend Equality.” While I’m happy about that, and how consistent Nick is in his advocacy, I suppose what you...

Danny Lopes From WetWork Media and Clearwater Productions comes "The Locals". With The Locals, producers intend to reach out to horror fans of all ages. The Locals will play up to the moderness of the "found footage" horror sub-genre whiles seamlessly incoporating an 80's slasher angel with some cannibalism that harkens back to the popularity of this sub-genre in the 70's. The Locals will also play up to urban legends and tale talls while capturing the fondness some fans share for the VHS camcorder style of horror all in a cohesive narrative. In the process, The Locals is bound to give each different type of horror fan something to look forward to.
"The Locals" is being directed by Eric Anthony Pereira (who worked on Pirahna 3D's Second Unit), from his script. Danny Lopes, often seen in the visually stunning horror films of cult director Dante Tomaselli, will be expanding upon...

If there could be such a thing as a not-very-gay episode of Glee, this would be it. Although Glee at its least gay is still really super-gay, especially to a girl like me who came of age in an era when a two-second dry-mouthed kiss between two women who weren't even dating got a TV episode canceled on half the network affiliates in the nation.
But I digress; this is not a recap of a long-ago episode of La Law, it's the recap of the thirteenth episode of the second season of Glee, "Comeback." And despite the fact that there was no Kurt whatsoever, not even Kurt swaying in the background while Blaine leads the Warblers in song, and that the future promise of Brittana seems as far off as it ever did… this episode had its moments.
Or maybe not. I might be fooled by the fact that I've...

Which Came First — The Chicken Or The Gay Dad?
Last week Out magazine published the results of their Love and Sex Survey and one of the most notable results was the very large generation gap between gay men on the subjects of gay marriage and having children.
While only 51% of those aged 36 to 45 want to get married, 80% of those 18 to 25 want to do so. The gap is even bigger when it comes to having children. While a whopping 70% of those under the age of 25 want little bundles of joy, only 31% of those over 25 are interested in changing diapers. Even though this is Out's first time doing this survey, I'd wager that even ten years ago, the gap wouldn't have been nearly so large.
Coincidentally — or not — this week saw the debut of USA's Fairly Legal, yet another show which includes an out gay man who is a dad. This comes...

I was so wrapped up in wanting to get Kurt away from Karofsky's campaign of harassment and the "horror movie" of his life at McKinley High that I didn't really think about what Dalton Academy would be like. Rainbows, I figured. Definitely ice cream. And I was pretty sure someone would get him a pony. And whether Blaine turned out to be a friend and mentor or a boyfriend was not as important to me as that he not hurt Kurt.
And now what I'm thinking is this: Can Kurt break Blaine's programming and get him out of the School for Stepford Boys before it's too late?
That Kurt will leave Dalton and return to McKinley is inevitable, dramatically. It's always been about the how and why. And this week, we get our first glimpse of just what those might be. (I say "might" because with this show, following...

"Glee" shippers probably aren't too happy with Tuesday's (Nov. 30) "Special Education" episode.
As New Directions and the Warblers prep for Sectionals, it's drama, drama, drama for the members of the respective show choirs. We imagine that The Hipsters are far too mature for that kind of stuff since we didn't see any of their behind-the-scenes story. Then again, maybe Fox is saving that for webisodes.
Spoilers! Watch "Special Education" before reading further.
Sorry to say, but love does not run smoothly for our Gleeks, well, except for Sam and Quinn, who definitely get elevated to leading man and lady with their perfectly sweet relationship and fun duet at Sectionals. Let's break it down, shall we?
Artie-Brittany, Tina-Mike Chang
Artie's understanding of Brittany is actually pretty sweet, although he tries to pull a "Dumbo" and give Brittany a magic comb to boost her confidence for sectionals. Tina, however, thinks that...

A Costco in San Juan put out copies of Ricky Martin’s Me ahead of Tuesday's official release date, so the details are starting to leak out as fast as people can read and put up quotes. What struck me was his story of coming out via his website.
And then all that fear I felt, the fear many people have at the moment they come out of the closet, it was just in my head. I know that maybe this is not the case with other when they decide to do it - there are those who are faced with a painful wall of misunderstanding and rejection - but I can say my own experience was nothing but positive and empowering.
Easily the most important thing in the history of the universe was the Rally To Restore Sanity and/or Fear today on the National Mall. The place was packed,...

From almost 20 years of South Park, here are its 25 best episodes featuring World Of Warcraft, Game Of Thrones parodies and more...
It’s funny how time can shift our perceptions. Long, long ago, way back in 1997, South Park was a counter-cultural revolutionary of a TV show, an ode to all things sexual and scatological that looked like it had been animated in the creators’ garden shed. Best noted for the ire it drew from parents’ groups and the weekly deaths of perma-hoodied fourth-grader Kenny, it bore all the markings of a flash-in-the-pan success, tie-in merchandise quickly shifted by the million and a movie fast-tracked to the multiplexes almost immediately.
Fast forward nearly twenty (twenty!) years later, and far from having been consigned to television history, South Park is an establishment icon; still brave and boundary-pushing, but revered by the majority, not feared, as much a...
