The first ever PC Gaming Conference at E3 kicked off with players staring at the floor with murderous intent. Tripwire announced that Killing Floor 2 is currently available through early access. Knowing that communication with players is key, Tripwire will be providing constant updates throughout the development process so that players know where the game is heading. John Gibson, president of Tripwire happily reported that there will be several new features, including extra gore courtesy of PhysX Flex. Community maps are already available for the game. Gibson also let current early access players know that Tripwire will not be resetting character stats, which is a welcome relief to all those who have built up a character only to have it scrubbed during updates.

When a video game trailer – or any trailer for that matter – opens with Creedence Clearwater Revival’s indelible 70s rock song “Run Through The Jungle,” you can almost confidently assume that whatever follows will be situated in a war-torn Vietnam. Such was the global impact of the conflict that it permeated the rock and roll scene, and it’s a connection that has undeniably stood the test of time. Case in point: Ccr’s classic serves as a backdrop in the announcement trailer for Tripwire’s upcoming sequel, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam.
Little-to-no information was made available beyond the reveal footage above, which was unveiled by Tripwire president John Gibson. This was, however, the very first time that the studio has discussed a sequel to the cult series, and the sizzle reel above showcases a firefight between U.S. and Viet Cong troops.

Videogame tie-in Frankie Goes To Hollywood was one of the most bizarre games of the 1980s. Ryan takes a look back...
Imagine this scenario: it’s the mid 1980s, and your massive, chunky BT telephone suddenly rings. It’s the boss of Ocean Software, and he has a project for you: design a game based on the pop band Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
What sort of game would you come up with? A platform game, perhaps? A Space Invaders shooter with a bleepy, 8-bit rendition of Relax playing in the background? Most game designers, I reckon, would have knocked out something quick and unimaginative - after all, it’s only being sold on the licence, isn’t it?
Instead, Denton Designs made one of the most unusual and innovative games of the 8-bit era.

Back in April, two American priests studying in Italy hit the stage in Rome for a must-see dance-off that's now gone viral. During a fundraiser at the Pontifical North American College near the Vatican, 29-year-old Rev. David Rider of Hyde Park, NY, showed off his tap-dance skills, and the crowd erupted in cheers. Soon it became a true dance-off when 28-year-old Rev. John Gibson of Milwaukee, Wi, joined him on stage to do some Irish dancing. Watch the impressive dance-off above and then check out more must-see viral videos, including some awesome dance videos!

It has been near four years since any word on John Gibson's Revelation Trail has come this way. This title has finally found distribution through Entertainment One and the release will include both Canada and the USA. This title blends the western genre with horror characters as the undead threaten to take over a small, rustic town. Release details for the film are hosted below. Revelation Trail is set in the 19th Century. In this time period, a preacher is set to face an unspeakable evil, with help from the town's marshal. But, the town is soon overrun by demons and the roaming dead. In 2010, a trailer for this feature was released. Since then, the DVD artwork has been completed. The graphic states "The dead rise. The West falls." It looks like the zombies are winning in this film poster. Fans of zombie horror features will be pleased to...

Hockey season is still far away, but goalies are already getting their newly designed masks. Last year we got a few game inspired designs, and it seems this year will continue the trend.
Anaheims goalie John Gibson has already revealed his newly designed mask and it is rather awesome for gamers. The design seen above is all inspired by none other than Pac-Man! Yes the actual game and not the boxer!
The mask features pixel styled art and faint holographic Duck logo's all throughout at it. Yep if you look at it at different angles you will see new images. Rather neat huh?
The artist behind the mask is Dave Gunnarsson and he noted the only thing not painted in pixel style is the actual Duck logo's that pop out.
If you don't find that cool, then maybe you will find his teammates design a bit fun. Anderson is currently...

Mile High Horror Film Festival
Oct. 3-6, 2013
Littleton, Colorado
A lot of thought, hard work and dedication went into the Mile High Horror Film Festival this year. With over 60 quality feature films, shorts, and music videos from 13 different countries, the 4 day fest hosted by Alamo Draft House (allies to the independent film genre) had camp to vamp and everything in between.
The festival had a wealth of new and old industry blood, live performance artists (or free range zombies, whichever you prefer), and an intriguing assortment of vendors and artists. The enthusiastic attendees can never be accused of living in their parents basements, but one step better, underneath their parents basement…
Some real stand outs besides the critic and audience pick winners were: Fist of Jesus- A Mexican import exploring the theme that Lazarus was indeed the first zombie. Hell No- A hilarious take...

Teddy Joye Hicks Gibson claims her stepson acted like a 'wild man' and poses an imminent physical threat to her
Mel Gibson's stepmother has filed for a temporary restraining order against the actor and director, claiming he acted like a "wild man" in her presence and represents an imminent physical threat.
Teddy Joye Hicks Gibson, 78, was married to Gibson's 93-year-old father, John Hutton Gibson, until he filed divorce papers against her last month citing irreconcilable differences. The application, filed yesterday in Los Angeles superior court, claims Gibson "and/or his sister (Maura Dunne) manipulated her husband (a devout Catholic) into filing the divorce action against Joye".
It continues: "Mel, his sister Maura, and Joye disagreed on Hutton's medical care. And Mel made it clear that Joye's views on anything were not welcome and only caused him to be irritated and were ignored."
The application further describes an alleged incident...

"I apologize to anyone who was offended."
Aah, that passive-aggressive non-apology apology. We've become used to seeing it in press releases after celebrity f**k-ups, but now the world seems to have caught on to how meaningless a statement it is.
These days, it's not enough to just go through the motions. In 2011 we require more than a token statement when a celeb tries to convince us that something was "taken out of context," or is "not what's in my heart."
Tracy Morgan is the latest apologetic celeb, and he seems to be working the hell out of his apology cycle, from meeting with GLAAD and Glbt teens, to loving a hypothetical gay son, to going back to the scene of his anti-gay tirade to apologize there.
His eagerness to make amends means he's either truly sincere in his apology ... or he's scared sh*tless about the future of his career.

New York -- Glenn Beck's new Fox News Channel program will debut Jan. 19.
Beck was lured away from CNN Headline News earlier this year so Fox News could fill its 5 p.m. slot, which had been "America's Election Headquarters" for the past several months since John Gibson's show was canceled.
The original date of the "Glenn Beck" premiere on Fox News was supposed to be in February, but the channel said Monday that Beck was able to get out of his CNN deal earlier than expected. That meant Fox News was free to push up the start date.
Fox News said Beck's program will include guests and a look at the day's top political, entertainment and business headlines. It won't be a carbon copy of "Glenn Beck" when it was on CNN Headline News, though. Gresham Striegel of "Fox & Friends" will be the show's senior producer.
