Well, congratulations This Is Us: You finally broke Randall.
The most earnest, tightly-strung Pearson sibling is also, as it turns out, the member of the family who’s the most excited about Thanksgiving. So it’s doubly sad when his favorite holiday of the year, and his enjoyment of the atypical family traditions that go along with it, are marred by the realization that his parents lied to him for years.

As is our annual tradition we like to peruse the credits of the SAG Ensemble nods to see who got left out despite their film's nomination. The Film Experience started this kind of analysis ten years ago when The Aviator had some really dumb exclusions and inclusions but lots of other sites now cover the injustice. We never get credit for starting this line of Norma Rae righteous anger but, that said, at least a lot of people have it now.
Did SAG think her face looked like she'd licked a homelessman's ass?
If you aren't familiar SAG uses a system whereby only actors with solitary title cards are official nominees for the Cast category. This means if you are famous in a bit part and have a good agent you are more likely to be an official nominee than the unknown who delivered a better performance in possibly a...

When all was said and done, Michelle Fairley deems it an “absolute pleasure” to have been a part of Fox’s 24: Live Another Day revival — up to and including the most recent and rollicking hour, in which Terrorist Mom Margot Al-Harazi died at the hand of the estimable Jack Bauer.
Fairley spoke with TVLine about stepping in as a last-minute recast, “blowing up” Potus and playing dead. Plus: TV’s erstwhile Catelyn Stark shares her take on Game of Thrones‘ season-ending surprise of omission.

One would be shocked to discover how many classic films have gotten lost in time, having been briefly presented to the world only to never be seen or found again. Even more shocking are some of the larger-than-life movie concepts that the film industry of yesteryear would come up with ("King Kong Appears in Ido," for instance) that unfortunately didn't manage to make the historic imprint that many other classics have. Fortunately, the Uncsa School of Filmmaking has obtained a truck load full of film prints and dedicated itself to restoring and screening as many as they can, including the long-lost musical version of "Othello" entitled "Santa Fe Satan" that will be screened at this year's RiverRun International Film Festival, according to Camel City Dispatch. "Santa Fe Satan" (originally entitled "Catch My Soul") had a difficult production, with the creator Jack Good adapting the original stage version for film and...

Steve Buscemi, Stanley Tucci and Wren Arthur, the trio behind Olive Prods., have set up their first TV projects: a drama at HBO starring Tucci and an animated comedy at TBS to be voiced by Tucci and Buscemi.
The projects stem from Olive's first-look deal with Lionsgate Television, which is on board to co-produce the shows.
The untitled HBO project, written by "Six Degrees" co-creator Stu Zicherman, is a family drama with Tucci as a brilliant, one-time powerful politician struggling to rebuild his career and relationships with his family and friends after being brought down by a scandal.
Zicherman, Tucci, Buscemi and Arthur are executive producing.
"Good and Evel" is an animated family comedy for TBS from "Daria" co-creator and "The Colbert Report" writer Glenn Eichler that revolves around twin brothers Jack Good and Bo Evel. Stolen by gypsy cab drivers at birth and taught how to behave and drive badly,...
