As a radio actor, one of Jerry's specialties was baby cries.
Hausner was present at recording sessions for all Mr. Magoo cartoons,
whether or not his voice was used, so Jim Backus would have someone to
play off during the sessions.
At the taping of I Love Lucy (1951) episode "Fan Magazine Interview" Jerry had a
fight with Desi Arnaz, Jerry angrily left the show, and remained bitter
towards Lucille Ball and Arnaz for the rest of his life.
Jerry supplied comic voices to several Spike Jones records, receiving label credit as "Terry Housner.".
The first episode of I Love Lucy (1951) did not feature the neighbors Fred and
Ethel but used Jerry Hausner playing Ricky's agent in the supporting
cast.
