Haleen K. Holt has over thirty five years experience in the
entertainment industry working as a costume illustrator and, at times,
an assistant designer. She is also a costume designer in the realm of
amusement/entertainment theme parks. Haleen was a costume designer for
Universal Studios new theme park in Osaka, Japan due to open in 2001.
She has currently completed costume designs for the Yamay Resort Theme
Park in Taiwan, grand opening also in the year 2001.
Haleen began her career on "Camelot" (Oscar winner for costume design
in 1967) working with designer John Truscott. In addition to
illustrating for John, he assigned Haleen to create designs for some of
the court ladies, townspeople and Guenevere's jewelry. Haleen worked
with John again on "Paint Your Wagon".
Some of Haleen's illustrations from "Camelot" were displayed at the Los
Angeles County Museum of Art as part of the 1988 show titled "Hollywood
and History".
Since 1966 Haleen has worked, in varying capacities, on over 50 motion
pictures, 25 television shows, more than a dozen stage productions,
commercials, and 6 theme parks. She has worked with over 45 costume
designers.
