[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 Episode 8 “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear.”] Well, the good news is you’ll only have to wait until February 24 to learn the fate of the Grey’s Anatomy doctor in the car as it went over a ridge — and that’ll happen in an event that once again brings together the ABC medical drama and its spinoff, Station 19. In the Grey’s midseason finale, Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd), Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver), and Dr. Cormac Hayes (Richard Flood) traveled to pick up a heart for Dr. Megan Hunt’s (Abigail Spencer) son, Farouk. But an accident on the way back — the driver had a stroke — left their car on its side, ready to tip over a ridge if anyone moved the wrong way. Teddy was able to climb out and make it to the road with the heart, then Owen forced Hayes to climb out,...

Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 — and specifically Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) — has been splitting time with stories and characters between Seattle and Minnesota. But which city’s episode time is holding your attention more? Do you prefer the usual setting for the ABC medical drama and its hospital staff? Or have you been drawn in by the attempt to find a cure for Parkinson’s and the new characters from Minnesota? Let’s take a look at what each place has to offer so far this season. Seattle Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Dr. Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) are basically trying to keep the hospital going. That means bringing on new staff members, like head of plastic surgery Dr. Michelle Lin (Lynn Chen), replacing Dr. Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams), and potentially a resident courtesy of Meredith in the latest episode. Dr. Megan Hunt...

ABC’s Body Of Proof is undergoing a rather extreme makeover in its third season — but one that is designed to give the show’s storytelling a jolt and not trim overhead.
In fact, on the heels of the three announced cast cuts — Nicholas Bishop (who plays Peter), John Carrol Lynch (Bud) and Sonja Sohn (Sam) — showrunner Matt Gross says that two new characters will join the mix.
The first, Det. Tommy Sullivan, is a former love interest of Megan’s who transfers to Philadelphia to win her back. The sexy cop will give his strong-willed ex a flirty hard...

Updated: In May 2003, ABC gave then-bubble drama series The Practice a last-minute renewal at a significantly reduced license fee. Shortly thereafter, the show let go seven of its 11 regular cast members, including star Dylan McDermott and female leads Lara Flynn Boyle and Kelli Williams. Nine years later, the last-minute renewal of another bubble ABC procedural, Body Of Proof too has led to multiple cast departures. It is not the bloodbath of The Practice proportions as star Dana Delany is staying put, but three of the show’s seven regular cast members were not picked up for next season: Nicholas Bishop, who played Medicolegal Investigator Peter Dunlop, sidekick to Delany’s medical examiner Megan Hunt last seen clinging to life in the finale’s cliffhanger, and John Carroll Lynch and Sonja Sohn, who played the show’s police detectives. News is not that bad for Lynch, who did a pilot in...

It's that time of the year again, when TV Fanatic takes a look back at various site favorites and hands out end-of-the-season grades.
So far, we've offered up critiques on The Vampire Diaries, The Good Wife and Person of Interest. Up next? Dana Delany and Body of Proof Season 2.
-------------------------------------------
A solid cast of characters = Grade A. The cast was what sets Body of Proof apart from other crime procedurals. Delany is a powerhouse as Dr. Megan Hunt, who is frequently the smartest person in a room but still manages to come off more human than Bones' Temperance Brennan. She's more comfortable examining dead bodies than dealing with live ones, yet her interactions with fellow coworkers were the best parts of the show.
And those coworkers held their own. Frequently the best lines in an episode went to Bud and Sam or Ethan and Curtis. Speaking of the big guy,...
