Antony Rufus Isaacs started life as a banker in the city of London. He left the city of London to form film production company involved with producing commercials. In 1972, he produced the Blockhouse with Peter Sellers. and Charles Aznavour. He sold his advertising film production company in U.K. and in 1985 moved to Los Angeles with his partner Richard Northcott. In 1986, he produced 91/2 weeks with Mickey Rourke and Kim Bassinger. His film production company, Galactic Films, went onto the Vancouver Stock Exchange as Nelson Entertainment and then onto AMEX in NYC and raised more than $ 100 million.
From 1987 to 1993 Antony Rufus Isaacs was the founder and co-owner of Nelson Entertainment and Nelson Films. During that time the company financed and distributed 23 films, mostly with Columbia Pictures where the company had an 18 picture deal.

In 1993 he left the film industry to set up a wild life trust n Tanzania with Tony Fitzjohn - The African Trust had an agreement with The Tanzanian government to re rehabilitate a national Game Reserve called Mkomazi which consisted of 2 million acres and a 60 mile border with Kenya's Tsavo National Park. Mkomazi became a National Park in 2006 with Tanzania's only fenced Rhino Sanctuary and a re habitation program for the African Wild dog.. One of the main commitments was to build up the elephant population which was 12 animals in 1990 survey to several hundred 10 years later. Mkomazi is a migratory route for elephant from Tsavo.
Returning to UK in 2005 from California he set up a Green Energy Company in the Latvian port of Leipaja - called Anglo Baltic. The company supplied wood pellets to UK power stations burning coal. The company was sold in 2014.
In 2016 he and his partner Alan Smith started Net Zero Hydrogen using a patented green method of producing hydrogen. The company is in talks with an Austrian company to build out the first plant.
1n 2020 he returned to Los Angeles to re start his old entertainment company Galactic Entertainment. He has several projects under development.
