Back in May, we reported that Bitten had been renewed for a third season by CTV in Canada. Now, Variety reports that Syfy will be airing season three as well. Production will begin this summer/fall and episodes will start running in 2016.

The first season of Bitten performed very well in Canada (where it's produced) and even became Space's highest-rated original series to date. The show performed okay here in the States on Syfy. How will season two do? Will this supernatural series be cancelled or renewed for a third season? If it's a hit in Canada but not in the U.S., will Syfy air future seasons? Stay tuned.
