American Idol star Michael Johns has revealed that Demi Moore was upset at his elimination from the show.
The Australian singer-songwriter said Moore approached him at a party in New York and said it was "awful" that he was voted off.
Johns finished in eighth place on the talent search after his unexpected departure earlier this month.
He told Us TV show Regis and Kelly: "I went over to talk to [Moore's daughter] Rumer and then I felt these arms come behind me and hug me.
