was torpedoed off Ireland's Old Head of Kinsale on 7 May 1915.

Jolivet gave a vivid description of the sinking of the Lusitania as a witness in the Admiralty Branch of the Federal District Court in New York. Her testimony was related to 67 lawsuits seeking a total of $6,000,000 in damages from the Cunard Steamship Company, owner of the Lusitania.
Great-great-aunt of actor Finn Wolfhard. Her brother Alfred Eugene Jolivet was Finn's maternal great-grandfather.

Daughter of Pauline Hélène (Vaillant), a concert musician, and Charles Eugene Jolivet, who owned vineyards in France. Her parents were from Paris, and her grandmother was also of Welsh descent.
