David Kristian has been composing music and creating sound design for
nearly three decades. David got his start as a film and video maker in
the early 1980s; frustrated with the lack of appropriate music to use
in his productions, he began creating his own soundtracks and sound
effects to accompany his science-fiction and horror projects. Over the
years, David Kristian abandoned filmmaking in order to concentrate
solely on his recording career, releasing several albums, and appearing
on numerous releases worldwide. His unique mastery of electronic
musical instruments and sound tools makes him a rarity in today's
"factory sound set" user world. David has created scores and sound
effects for a wide variety of projects from Japanese commercials and
animation music and effects for Ryosuke Aoike, to complete soundtracks
for film directors Nacho Cerdà (The Abandoned), Karim Hussain (La Belle
Bete), and Douglas Buck (Sisters). Since 2009, David has been working
as an Audio Artist for Ubisoft, where he created most of the sound
effects for Splinter Cell: Conviction's Co-Op levels.
