Renowned for their forward-thinking sounds and pyromanic spectacles, German metal titans Rammstein will finally bring their explosive stadium act to North America this summer.
The highly anticipated tour will kick off August 20th at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, span across eight U.S. stadiums, then close out in Mexico City’s Foro de Sol on September 27th. The tour will be produced by Aeg Presents.

While touring in support of their latest self-titled album, Rammstein traded their signature pyrotechnics for a different kind of fireworks in Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia: Swathed in metallic body paint, guitarists Paul Landers and Richard Kruspe exchanged a fleeting kiss while performing their 2019 song “Ausländer.” The kiss was in direct protest of Russia’s anti-lgbtq laws. (The kiss happens at the 4:55-mark in the above video.)

After an old-timey introduction promising “dance music,” a dapper-looking Rammstein launch into a heavy-metal march (complete with imagery of stormtroopers) in the video for “Radio,” a track off their upcoming, as-yet-untitled album.
The black-and-white clip, directed by longtime Rammstein collaborator Jörn Heitmann, shows imagery of women in World War II-era factory gear building ancient-looking transistor radios, another woman with a radio in a baby carriage (and breastfeeding it) and a boy spying on a woman making love to yet another radio. A nun even prays to one. Rammstein are dressed...

I’m thrilled to introduce the first episode of an ongoing new podcast called GeekTyrant Audio, where we put the focus on the artists behind the music of the TV shows and films that we love.
Charlie Clouser is the composer of Resident Evil: Extinction, the Saw franchise, Wayward Pines, Childhood’s End, and also wrote the opening theme to American Horror Story. Those works follow a long-running music career as a member of Nine Inch Nails, and a collaborator with A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, White Zombie, Rammstein, Type O Negative, Fuel. He has even collaborated with Marilyn Manson and David Bowie.
In this debut episode of GeekTyrant Audio, we discuss how Clouser created the gorgeous, atmospheric, and occasionally creepy, dread-inducing soundscapes for Childhood’s End and Wayward Pines. We discuss how he learned a lot from his years of work alongside Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails, Gone Girl, and...
