Begin as an assistant editor at the National Film Board of Canada and
work on
Le temps d'une chasse (1972) with
Werner Nold. He began directing in 1975 with the short
Babiole (1975). In 1976, he assisted Werner Nold at the editing of _Jeux de la XXIème Olympiade (1977)_
produced by NFB. In 1979, after directing his first documentary
Samedi soir (1978), he created his own company 'Les productions La Corniche inc.'
produced and directed
Le château de cartes (1980). In 1983, he founded a new company 'Les
Films Vision 4 inc.' and produced with
Claude Bonin the feature
Les années de rêves (1984) with
Jean-Claude Labrecque. Since 1986, he has concentrated his work on directing and
writing feature films and tv series shot in Canada, France and South
America.
