- Alain Souchon wrote a song named after her; he never was a real supporter of her political ideas, but he liked at that time her personality and the sincerity he thought she had in her long-time political fight. However, he said more recently he would never sing this song since her refusal to give a clear call to vote for Jacques Chirac (which would have been in fact a call to vote against far-right leader Jean-Marie Le Pen) in the second round of 2002 French presidential elections.
