Saturday, February 6
9/8c Beverly Hills Wedding (Hallmark Channel)
When small-town wedding photographer Molly’s (Brooke D’Orsay) baby sister gets engaged, she enters the budget-conscious couple in a contest and wins a dream wedding.
It's an all-expenses-paid, celeb-worthy event at the historic Beverly Hills hotel, thrown by “planner to the stars,” Terrence Roquefort.

And, the film's release details are hosted here. Welcome to the Circle has appeared at a couple of film festivals, including Fantasporto (Portugal). Here, the film was reviewed at ScifiNow, who notices the film's confusing affect: "an ever more disorienting trip through locations." The made-for-tv movie was a programming staple for the broadcast networks in the 1970s and 1980s. While it fell out of favor in the 1990s and was even dropped as an Emmy Awards category for three years beginning in 2011, it has been on an upswing as of late. This year, 34 telefilms are in contention for the five nominations that will be revealed on July 12.
All 22,000 plus voting members of the TV academy have until June 25 to cast their ballots for their favorite TV movies. In the past, voters were limited in the number of telefilms that they could put forth. Last year, that cap (which was usually 10 per category) was lifted. And, as opposed to the Oscars, voters for the Emmys do not rank their choices and nominees are determined by a simple tally.

I wasn’t really sure what I was going to write about this episode until the end. For about fifty-five minutes, this was another very good episode of Legends Of Tomorrow, but after gushing about the show for the past couple of weeks, I didn’t know how much more I had to say about it.
Then Commander Steel sacrificed himself with Nate right there, and I ended up tearing up at a goofy TV show where Victor Garber was humiliating himself on TV not twenty minutes ago. I continue to be impressed at how good this show is. It doesn’t have the flash or style of Legion,...

The synopses have been revealed for Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, and Arrow for the episodes coming up in two weeks! Let's start with The Flash, as it clarifies a rumor about if Jesse Quick will be killed by Grodd's hands. This is not exactly a spoiler anymore because, well, it is in the synopsis and there is a listing on IMDb if the actress that plays Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) will be on the show. If you really do not want to know, skip over the first part. I'll spread it out a bit so you can avoid it easier, but again, it's not really a spoiler anymore.
The Flash - "Into the Speed Force"Barry Turns To The Speed Force – Desperate to stop Savitar and save his friends, Barry (Grant Gustin) turns to the speed force for answers. H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) gives Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) some advice.

We're already one member short on the Justice Society of America and we just met them!
Eobard Thawne left his dirty fingerprints all over DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 Episode 2, as he was in search of some giant bauble that was originally in the possession of the Nazis.
For reasons unknown, he was unable to flash in and out and get it himself, but instead flashed into Jsa headquarters, threatened and killed Rex Tyler aka Hourman, took the bauble and left.
Huh?
Sometimes things on this show just don't make a lot of sense. There aren't a lot of things that would appear to be off limits for Reverse Flash, so must've just wanted to kill Hourman. Ok.
I still wait around hoping for a hint of the guy we knew for the entirety of The Flash Season 1, but he's gone. It's as if they're two completely different characters, Reverse Flash pre- and post-reveal.

Tonight’s season 2 premiere of Legends of Tomorrow kicked things off with a bang as we were taken to multiple points in time alongside the ragtag team of heroes as they set off on a whole new adventure. However, they soon met their match in Damien Darhk, and things look set to get even more difficult for them following that last minute reveal.
That’s right, Darhk was working alongside the Reverse-Flash all along, and while we’ve yet to meet the other members of the Legion of Doom (Captain Cold and Malcolm Merlyn), it’s fair to say that the Legends have a serious new threat on their hands here.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has just released a new promo!
Talk about exciting. Oh the places they will go.
To get things started, not only will they be visiting some point in the history of France, but the Queen? She'll find our Sara Lance quite fetching. Just how fetching? Ahem.
Did we have any doubt our girl could attract royalty??
Now, you'd think it would be really exciting for Professor Stein to meet someone like Einstein, right?
Except, Mick likes him. Because Einstein is a bit of a pig.
He's got a way with the ladies, it appears, and his outlandish behavior will do the team some good.
Their plot, by listening to just a snippet, is to kidnap the guy. This gives Our Stein a chance to do something very unlike him.
Other sources said they saw Reverse Flash somewhere in this promo, but God help me, I couldn't find him.

Season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow will see the team replace the Time Masters as the guardians of history and with that new position, the team will cross paths with the Justice Society of America: Hourman (Patrick J. Adams) Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) Stargirl (Sarah Grey) Obsidian (Lance Henriksen) Doctor Mid-Nite (role not yet cast) Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull) The team will also cross paths with the Legion of Doom, which will consist of: Reverse-Flash ( Matt Letscher) Dark Archer (John Barrowman) Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) However, according to showrunner Marc Guggenheim, the show has a lot more to explore beyond the additon of these two superpowered groups. Speaking to Collider at the Summer TCAs, he stated, "The show has so many challenges, and certainly one of them has been that the show can be anything, so what’s it gonna be? That’s one of the reasons why...

Legends of Tomorrow season two has been slowly putting together the Justice Society of America for a while now, and Comic Book Resources reveals that the latest addition is Lance Henriksen (The Terminator) as Obsidian. Introduced in the pages of All-Star Squadron #25 in 1983, the character became part of the Jsa in 2007 and has the ability to merg with his own shadow so he can fly, pass through solid objects, and even possess other people's shadows (making him pretty formidable). The version of the team we'll see in Legends of Tomorrow includes Patrick J. Adams as Hourman, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Vixen, Matthew MacCaull as Commander Steel, and Sarah Grey as Stargirl. In other DC TV news, Andrew Kreisberg revealed at today's TCA panel that one of the characters in this world will be coming out at some point later this year. Greg Berlanti meanwhile added: "It is a significant character. The...

The CW really isn’t fooling around today when it comes to news pertaining to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Despite having an all-star team of superheroes leading the charge each week, that doesn’t mean the producers are afraid to squeeze in a few more guests culled from around the DC Universe.
ComicBook.com reports that legendary genre actor Lance Henriksen has been cast to play Obsidian, a member of the Justice Society of America. They’re quick to point out that an older actor was cast because this iteration of Obsidian’s heyday was during World War II and the crew of the Waverider will be meeting a present day or future version of him. Whether or not he’s the son of Green Lantern Alan Scott remains to be seen.

The CW's superhero time travel series Legends of Tomorrow promised us new heroes and they're delivering. They've just cast the Justice Society of America's Stargirl. IGN.com reports it's Power Rangers actor Sarah Grey who's grabbed the role of Stargirl, otherwise known as Star-Spangled Kid, otherwise known as Courtney Elizabeth Whitmore. Stargirl was created by DC Entertainment President & Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and introduced in Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. #0 back in 1999. Johns created her in honor of his sister who passed away three years earlier and she's mostly retained a youthful, energetic, and hopeful appearance in the comics. Considering how many teenagers they have, Courtney is one of the few DC characters who actually had braces on her teeth at one point. She was, for lack of a better word, normal. While in the DC Comics Bombshells series she has an entirely different origin, in...

iZombie star Matthew MacCaull has been cast as Commander Steel in the upcoming second season of Legends of Tomorrow. If you recall, it was revealed during Comic-Con that the hero is one of the confirmed members of the Justice Society of America that we’ll see in The CW series, along with Stargirl, Obsidian and Dr. Mid-Nite.
For those of you unfamiliar with the character, Henry Heywood was created by Gerry Conway and Don Heck in 1978 and had his body reinforced and enhanced with steel in order to fight for his country during World War II. Interestingly, Commander Steel is the grandfather of Dr. Nate Heywood (who will be played by Nick Zano), so they’ll obviously meet thanks to time travel.
Unfortunately, further details about Legends of Tomorrow‘s take on the hero have not been revealed, so how he’ll factor into the show now remains to be seen.

'Star Trek Beyond' with Chris Pine as Captain Kirk: Will movie franchise reboot achieve 'escape velocity'? 'Star Trek Beyond' Review: Movie franchise needs to boldly go where J.J. Abrams has never gone before We're never told what “beyond” refers to in Star Trek Beyond, the 13th film in the venerated sci-fi series. But here's a theory: if the franchise is to regain its footing after the tepid returns of Star Trek Into Darkness, it will have to move beyond J.J. Abrams, the writer/director who used his brand of copycat magic to relaunch the series in 2009. In our reboot era, he's got the canny ability to provide older audiences with enough familiarity to keep them under the tent while giving new audiences enough youthful verve so they don't feel the franchise isn't for them. If you think that's not worth something, see Star Wars: The Force Awakens,...

If you've seen or casually changed the channels by one of Syfy's disaster movies of the week, you've probably seen Jason Bourque's work - if not his name. The director has etched himself a solid career making TV disaster movies (Seattle Superstorm, Doomsday Prophecy, Stonados) but Black Fly is a completely different beast; a movie that doesn't rely on either ridiculous plots or equally ridiculous special effects to entertain but rather on performances to make it stand out.

Luckey, repped by Greene & Associates and Emerald Talent Group, will play the oldest son, a talented but somewhat unreliable artist and painter who is curious about his mother’s odd behavior. This past weekend SyFy presented the four-hour mini-series (and possible pilot) Riverworld, and while the reviews have not been kind, the network deserves credit for being gay inclusive ... when they didn't have to be.
Antonio and Hal ... Before.
Riverworld is about ...well ... it's complicated. But basically it involves ... okay, honestly, I'm not entirely sure what it was about. People die, and then they end up on an alien slab, dripping wet and naked (with just a flimsy piece of cloth covering their naughty bits), and then they're transported to "Riverworld," fully clothed, but as young, hot versions of themselves.
Antonio and Hal ... After.
Two of the main characters are a gay couple, Hal (Matthew MacCaull) and Antonio (Matty Finochio), who struggle to endure the violent purgatory their mysteriously find themselves in and ... almost survive.
Yes, unfortunately the two gay men don't make it to the end,...
