Richard McWhorter was born on June 6, 1914 in Houston, Texas, USA. He was married to Loreine Blanche Hawkins and Adrian Emily Anderson. He died on January 18, 2015 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
After WW2, he started Studio Process Body Co., which supplied break away auto and truck bodies for rent to studios for use in closeup scenes showing actors in vehicles.
Began his movie industry career at Columbia Studios as a messenger boy in 1933.
