(L-r) Liam Hemsworth as Kinney and Luke Hemsworth as Abel in the action film, Land Of Bad, a release by The Avenue.
By Marc Butterfield (Usaf Veteran)
Director William Eubank ’s Land Of Bad is an interesting movie, a story about a fresh-faced young U.S. Air Force Fac, Af Sergeant JJ Kinney, played by Liam Hemsworth out on his first mission in the Philippine Islands to find and extract a person who is their intelligence asset from a compound on the south end of the island.

Getting to the point: it’s a good action movie, however feeling at times like there are two separate movies going on; The Russell Crowe movie about a 59 year old Usaf captain, Af Captain Eddie Grimm ‘Reaper’, who is somehow been allowed to wear a Hawaiian shirt under his regulation jacket, along with smuggling about one hundred pounds over...

“The Purge: Election Year,” is the third installment in the “Purge” franchise, but after its two terrifying predecessors this horror disappoints. “The Purge” takes place in a futuristic United States where crime is non-existent because of a policy put in place by The New Founding Fathers — one night each year, any and all crime is allowed for 12 hours. “The Purge: Election Year,” much like “The Purge: Anarchy” before it, wears its vintage John Carpenter allegiance on its sleeve,” wrote TheWrap’s Dave White. “DeMonaco and editor Todd E. Miller only let up the action in order to draw your attention to some.

In 2013, the country responded to the provocative concept that on one night every year, any and all crime is made legal. Audiences turned The Purge into a surprise summer hit as the film debuted at No. 1 with an astonishing $34.1 million weekend at the domestic box office.
After witnessing the response to the film and listening to the conversations that it provoked, James DeMonaco (writer/director of The Purge and writer of The Negotiator, Assault on Precinct 13) quickly returned to the explosive universe that he created with an even more arresting idea for a sequel: placing the audience outside on the streets during the annual Purge.
A speculative thriller that shows us what occurs during The Purge outside of the confines of a suburban neighborhood, The Purge: Anarchy returns us to a dystopic future. Our government, now re-engineered by the New Founders of America (Nfa), has sanctioned its annual 12-hour...

Vidhu Vinod Chopra who is busy with his maiden Hollywood venture Broken Horses with Vincent D'Onofrio seems to be going to great lengths to ensure the film's success. In fact now we hear that Vvc has roped in Hollywood editor par excellence Todd E. Miller to work on the gangster film. Having shot the film in Us earlier this year, Vidhu has now roped in Miller, who has worked on films like The Expendables 2 and Transformers, to handle the editing of his film as well. Apart from this, reports also have it that Todd has moved base from Us to Mumbai to edit the film. Broken Horses which features Vincent D'Onofrio (Men In Black) along with Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) and Chris Marquette (Alpha Dog), is an epic thriller about the bonds of brotherhood, the laws of loyalty and the futility of violence.
