We have a special episode of The Arrow in the Head Show for you today, one in which hosts John “The Arrow” Fallon and Lance Vlcek take a look at a particularly awesome scene from director James Cameron’s 1984 classic The Terminator (watch it Here). The scene they’re discussing is the Tech Noir club scene – and to find out what they had to say about it, check out the video embedded above!
The screenplay for The Terminator is credited to Cameron and producer Gale Anne Hurd, although Cameron has said that, while Hurd did suggest edits to the script, she didn’t actually do any writing on the film. The film has the following synopsis: Disguised as a human, a cyborg assassin known as a Terminator travels from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor. Sent to protect Sarah is Kyle Reese, who divulges the coming of Skynet, an artificial intelligence...

This is what I thought I knew about The Terminator—released 30 years ago this weekend—before I watched it for the first time a few nights ago: - The title character is played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. - He's a robot who's been sent back in time to do... something. - He's a bad guy. Except they keep making movies about him, so maybe he's a good guy. Or he starts as one, then becomes the other? Regardless, he is definitely either good or bad. Yep. That much I know. - Linda Hamilton plays Sarah Connor, a badass with great arms...

Things were not going well for James Cameron in the spring of 1982. He was just five days into what is supposed to be his debut as a director, the low-budget horror sequel Piranha II: The Spawning, and the project had gone sour.
Producer Ovidio Assonitis had no intention of letting Cameron make the film his own way (Assonitis had a track record of firing directors and taking over projects himself), and before long the director found himself stuck in Rome, jobless, and struck down with a fever. It was then that Cameron had the nightmare which would change the course of his career.
He dreamt of a horrifying metal being, clawing its way towards out of a sheet of fire, clutching a pair of kitchen knives. It was the seed that...

Some possible story details have leaked from the upcoming Terminator: Genesis movie currently in development at Paramount Pictures. The movie is being directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World), and it stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor, and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. The information that has come to light is from Movie Hole, who says it comes from a very reputable source that they believe is "one-hundred percent on-the-money."
So, if you don't want anything spoiled for you I suggest you don't read ahead. I do have to say though, this sounds like a really cool concept that almost plays out like Back to the Future Part 2 and J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. The movie is described as a fresh reboot of the series, and now let's get into the meat of it...
