- In May 1942, she met and was engaged to a serviceman named Timothy Hanish. They had planned to be married after he got back from serving in WWII but sadly he died in conflict shortly after his arrival. She never remarried after that but did give birth to a daughter in February 1943 whom she named, Bonnie.
