- Nassour was introduced to his wife Sharon Douglas by Rudy Vallee.
- He, his two brothers and a sister, all living in Los Angeles, were descendants of a perfume family empire.
- Created a soundproof studio in 1947 and as the Nassour Brothers Studio on Sunset Boulevard, it was rented to independent studios. In 1948, his office desk there was the most expensive in Hollywood, costing $8,000. Nassour claimed that he used it for business conferences and that he actually preferred a smaller office he had "next door" because the big desk gave him an "inferiority complex." He and his brothers sold the studio to Los Angeles TV station KTTV in 1950.
