Planning on picking up Neca's Super Freddy Doll at Comic-Con this week? Then you may as well have it signed by the actor who portrayed the pumped-up serial killing nightmare man, Michael Bailey Smith!
Smith will be signing at Neca's booth (#3143) on Thursday and Friday so make sure you swing by and check him out!
This 8-inch retro style action figure is based on Freddy Krueger's appearance in A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 5: The Dream Child and marks the first time this look has been produced in figure form.
Super Freddy will be sold July 24-27 at the event, the figure limited to only 5000 pieces and priced at $40. It comes in a blister card with backer card custom illustrated by Christopher Ott and Geoffrey Trapp.
If you can’t attend Comic-Con, Neca will be making Limited Quantities available both inside and outside the Us. Specifics will be announced shortly before the convention begins.

Though nobody cared all that much about the 1989 Friday the 13th Nes game over the course of the past couple decades, that all changed earlier this year when Neca decided to make an action figure based on Jason's appearance in the 8-bit game. Suddenly, purple and blue Jason is absolutely everywhere, many companies following in Neca's footsteps by offering up merchandise based on the game.
One of those companies is artist Christopher Ott's London 1888, who just put up for pre-order the t-shirt you see above. Dubbed 'Camp 1989,' the 100% cotton shirt depicts the status bar and infamous death screen from the video game, with Jason and his trusty axe colored a vibrant purple and baby blue.
The pre-sale runs through November 10th, and from what I understand the price of $17 will go up after that day has passed. Sizes Small-5Xl are available, though the 4Xl and 5Xl tees...

Just yesterday I was talking about Before the Mask and yet, here I am again spreading even more good news about the film’s choices for funding. Three artists have used their talents to create prints that you can buy on the Behind/Before the Mask website. Joel Robinson (www.artpusher.net), Nathan Thomas Milliner (www.rebelrouserart.com), and Christopher Ott (www.london-1888.com) are the talent behind these pieces, which you can view below.

Christopher Ott
Unfortunately, the file for Nathan’s was too large for me to upload onto here, but click Here in order to see it in the store.
The prints are $10 a piece and have a number on them up to 150 (that’s how many copies there are of each, right now). Another smart way to fund the movie, I think. I hope many of you will do your part in supporting well-made,...

Popcorn (1991) Raise your hand if you are a fan of the 1991 slasher "Popcorn" starring genre vets Jill Schoelen (The Stepfather), Dee Wallace (The Howling), Derek Rydall (Night Visitor) and Kelly Jo Minter (Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child). If you're a fan of the movie, like myself, then get ready for a potential celebration as a fan of the movie is actively trying to bring the film back out to the masses with an array of all new special features in a deluxe DVD edition.
Back when I was a kid, I remember being enticed by the TV spots for a new slasher film coming out entitled Popcorn. I waited in anticipation of the film, but it never arrived at my local theater. Finally, I caught the film one late night on Cinemax and instantly fell in love with it. I loved the homage to horror films of the past.

If there’s one thing we love around here, it’s horror memorabilia. From models and figurines to posters and clothing, horror collectibles are always the most badass. It was quite a nice surprise, then, to be contacted by artist Christopher Ott, who gave us the heads-up on his team’s newest endeavour: London 1888.
Being very much in its infancy, the company currently only offers two designs in both t-shirt and poster format – one, an impressive A Nightmare on Elm Street offering (the poster of which is a Limited Edition) and the second, a kickass They Live illustration.
If the quality is indicative of what’s to come, then I think it’s safe to say that we’ll all be keeping an eye on them as they intend to launch their first major line during the next few weeks. You can do so at the official London 1888 website and...
