- Paul Pantano is an award winning Australian actor. Born Paolo Giuseppe Pantano to Italian parents he began his career at the age of 8, he first appeared in popular drama 'Police Rescue.' Pantano received wide recognition when he scored a reoccurring role on ABC's award winning hardcore drama 'Wildside' as street kid 'Joe Pelluci.' It was this role that had Pantano appear on many Australian TV shows, Water Rats, All Saints, Breakers, Stingers, Blue Heelers, Outriders, Grass Roots, Neighbours. Pantano was awarded the AFI for Best Young Actor in 1998. Paul also led the cast of Disney show 'The Crash Zone' as 'Marcello Di Campilli' which produced two full seasons, he also appeared in films Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Close Contact, Natalie Wood - Hollywood's Lost Child, Second Chance, Mask 2, Stealth, and in 2008 had a supporting role in Australian boxing film Two Fists One Heart. Also in 2008 Paul worked on popular Australian drama 'Home & Away' as 'Elliot Gillen' where the main story line for the year was centered on his character, he was also cast in critically acclaimed hard hitting FOX8 drama 'Dangerous' as 'Joe' where he appeared in all 8 episodes, he also appeared on HBO miniseries 'The Pacific' produced by Tom Hanks & Steven Spielberg. In 2010 Pantano guest starred in COPS L.A.C as 'Rollie Tyler' and in 2013 he worked on kids TV series 'Sam Fox: Extreme Adventures' as 'Miguel' short film 'Melvis' and he was the lead in the pilot for a sci fi web series 'The Army Within' as 'Traye.' Pantano continues to work featuring on Australian drama shows, 'Love Child' 'Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries , Doctor Doctor and has continued to work more recently in 2021 alongside Hollywood funny man Josh Gad in Abe Forsythe's 'Wolf Like Me' and has been cast in Underbelly: Vanishing Act due to be released in 2022- IMDb Mini Biography By: Representation

- Paul is very close with his family, especially to his mother who he often cares for who lives with Parkinson's Disease.
- Paul scored his first acting role in a cereal commercial on 6th June, 1990. It was the day his youngest sister was born in a hospital across the road from where he was filming, His father was going back and forth across the road to check on his wife and then to check on Paul.
