I don't like that attitude. You learn English, you should know Hindi also. And please don't glorify the fact that your Hindi is not good. Don't say 'Meri Hindi bahut kharab hai'.

Besides the story and performances, upcoming release Masaan is also being talked about for its real locations and showcasing the heart of India. Masaan is set in the backdrop of Benaras city and it has been beautifully captured. And the credit for it goes to director Neeraj Ghaywan and National award winning cinematographer Avinash Arun.
Director Neeraj says, "This film had to be set in Benaras because it's starting from the point of death healing people. It's like how they come-of-age while dealing with death of someone really close. Benaras is a modern small town India, where a lot of the youth and people are struggling to find their way out from the shackles of socio-cultural or societal or financial crisis or individual crises...We became like the people of Benaras while shooting. And we just trusted anyone and everyone whom we met on our way for it."

Masaan has not only impressed those at the Cannes Film Festival, but also celebrities back in hometown! When a special screening of the movie was held, actress Dia Mirza seemed awestruck by the movie.
Dia said, "Masaan is magical. There is a saying na, ki Hindustan ke andar bahut saare Hindustan basein hai (that there is a wide India within India). In that, there is one India that Neeraj has very beautifully and lovingly presented to the audiences. It's such a beautiful experience and I hope that everyone goes, watches the film and gives it all the love. Because the movie just deserves all the love."
"Neeraj has conveyed so many things about people's changing culture with simplicity, detail and beauty. It is difficult to describe and important to watch. I'm really hoping that many people watch this film," added Dia.
