Steven Leslie Pollock, brother of Hollywood film and television editor
Robert Pollock, had an illustrious career spanning over 3 decades of
high quality television, film and business production. As a graduate of
Beverly Hills High School in 1985, he was destined for a career in
production. His credits range from the Johhny Carson Tonight show to
the controversial cult hit, Wag the Dog. He has collaborated in
projects with stars like Bob Hope, Burt Reynolds, Carrol Burnett, Bobby
Deniro, Dustin Hoffman, Johnny Carson and many more. He loved and lived
all aspects of production with the highlight of his career culminating
in producing the Pope in Los Angeles, broadcasted to over 45 countries
and 8 continents, live. He is also credited with engineering the
acquisition of USSB satellite by Directv, a multi billion dollar take
over. He will always be remembered for his radiant personality and savvy
business skills and creative financing with an eye for extreme talent.
His loss, was really all of the world's loss, and
especially Hollywood. At the time of his death, he was in negotiations
for making a deal for his extraordinary memoirs of growing up in the
1970's in north Beverly Hills. Steven was born in Winnipeg Canada in
1965 and moved to Los Angeles with his family in 1971.
