Strauss had stepped away last year for a stint in Demi Lovato’s live band. Now, Cooper has announced that his band will welcome back Strauss for this year’s tour dates.
“She’s back!” commented Alice Cooper in a press release. “Nita asked for a leave of absence to work with someone else, something I always encourage my band members to do. I like them to challenge themselves and try new things. I’m thankful to my old friend Kane Roberts for stepping up and filling in for her, but she’ll be back with us for the new tour that starts up in late April. It’s going to be great to have her back.”

To even the most casual of baseball fans, Mark McGwire's admission that he used steroids wasn't particularly shocking. All you had to do was watch any of the 135 home runs he hit between the ages of 34 and 35 (some of still haven't made their way back into Earth's atmosphere) to know something was amiss. Also, there was that time he hoisted an armored truck above his head in Pittsburgh. That probably should've been a dead giveaway.
And while the scourge of steroids in baseball is well documented, there are frighteningly few reports on their role in the world of music. But make no mistake about it, steroids — and all performance-enhancing drugs — have found their way into the recording studios and tour buses of some of the biggest names in the business. Over the past decade, we've seen artists bulk up at an alarming, seemingly unnatural rate. We've seen previously unobtainable records fall with ease.

I set out to create a list of the most memorable horror songs, which slowly morphed into a collection of the most memorable end credit horror songs. And now I suppose it’s a list of the ten most memorable 80s end credit horror songs. But I didn’t set out with that as a guideline. It just sort of happened that way. In looking over this list now, I’m left to wonder why nobody puts much effort into the end credits music these days. Since it’s the last impression the viewer has of a film, why not make it memorable?
That’s what these songs have in common.
Some are genuinely cool while others are downright baffling, but I’ve never forgotten them. Even the head scratchers. For your listening pleasure, I’ve included links to all the songs should you need a refresher. And, as always,...
