Christopher Meek knew on 9/11 that he would one day give back to the people who risk their lives on behalf of other Americans.
Almost 16 years later, Meek gives back over and over again, helping many courageous citizens walk or stand, through his group that provides exoskeleton devices to paralyzed veterans.
“I was in the shadows of the Twin Towers on 9/11,” says Meek, 46, a finance officer who worked inside the World Trade Center. “One of my biggest memories of this day is the hundreds of people rushing into the buildings when others were running out.”
The sight of the gallant rescuers left a profound impression.

Facebook isn’t slowing down in its push to improve video offerings across the board. The social media site has created a new type of feed called Suggested Videos, and will start offering content creators and brands a percentage of the revenue generated by video ads within the new feed.
Facebook’s Suggested Videos feed will be akin to its regular News Feed, but exclusively for video content. The feed will host clips from both regular site users as well as brands and content creators, using Facebook’s recently-updated and tweaked algorithm to determine which videos are most relevant to each other and to individual users’ preferences.
Site users who click on a video in their News Feeds will be taken to Suggested Videos and shown the video they originally clicked. Facebook users will then be shown other content related to the original clip they selected. For example, users who...

This week’s edition of Smackdown was taped in Albany, New York on November 4th and will air on Friday November 7th. We are two months away from WWE moving Smackdown to Thursday nights, which will hopefully improve the quality of the show.
Raw ended on Monday with Randy Orton getting attacked by The Authority after he lost the main event match clean to Seth Rollins. It was WWE’s way of writing Orton out of action.
Smackdown featured a depleted WWE roster because half of the crew left after Raw for the first leg of the European tour. WWE sends two rosters for their tours, so they couldn’t use as many people for Smackdown this week.
This is the start of a new weekly feature where we’ll take a look at the key segments that happened during Smackdown. Obviously we can’t see everything and...

Facebook has revealed that its users have shared more than 5 billion songs since September's f8 conference. The social networking firm's VP of Partnerships Dan Rose announced the figure at the Midem conference in Cannes, which runs until January 31.
