Conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage was attacked in a Bay area restaurant Tuesday night, and it sure seems there's a Trump connection. We're told Savage was eating dinner at Servino Ristorante in Tiburon at around 8:30 Pm, when a guy started mocking Savage's legal last name, screaming, "weener, weener." We're told the guy threw Savage to the ground, after allegedly shoving Savage's poodle, Teddy, out of the way. Savage is one of Trump's favorites,...

The Class of 2015 Star Honorees – the 30 people selected to receive a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame – includes TV, movie and music personalities as well as one unique selection: Larry Elder, one of just a handful of celebrities in political talk-radio to get his own star. Of the more than 2,500 people honored with a star, hundreds are from the radio industry, though few who focus on political talk. Rush Limbaugh, who pioneered conservative talk radio in the 1980s doesn’t have a star, nor do Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck or Michael Savage, all of

Canadians who were excited to see Chris Brown perform live are out of luck. He was originally scheduled for performances in Halifax, N.S., Saint John, N.B., Toronto and Winnipeg, as part of a summer concert series, but all four concerts have been canceled.
The announcement was made by the promoter of the shows in a press release. Stephen Tobin, owner of Drop Entertainment Group, says the shows have been called off "in light of the performer's recent personal and health-related issues." Brown was sentenced to an additional 1,000 hours of community service as part of his reinstated probation Friday (August 16), a week after suffering a seizure while in a recording studio.
The cancellations also come after Halifax mayor Mike Savage spoke out about Brown being scheduled to perform in his city, saying "It makes me kind of sick, to be honest with you," the Chronicle Herald reports. He went...

Halifax - The promoter of four Chris Brown concerts in Canada scheduled for this summer says the events have been cancelled.
Stephen Tobin, owner of Drop Entertainment Group, says the decision was made after consulting Brown and in light of his recent personal and health-related issues.
Brown was scheduled to perform in Halifax, Saint John, N.B., Toronto and Winnipeg.
Halifax Mayor Mike Savage spoke out against Brown's performance in his city, saying he was disappointed he had been invited because he didn't think the performer is a good role model.
On Friday, the R&B star had his probation reinstated and was sentenced to 1,000 hours of community labour after he was involved in an alleged hit-and-run accident.
The hit-and-run charge was dismissed earlier, but he agreed to a deal worked out in the chambers of a Los Angeles judge.
Brown also suffered a seizure earlier this month.

Sean Hannity likely won't be staying with Cumulus radio much longer. Conservative radio host Michael Savage predicts that he will soon be replacing Hannity on Cumulus Media's network of stations.
"I predict, right here, right now, that I Michael Savage and the 'Savage Nation' is going to take over 'The Sean Hannity Show' time slot by the end of the year," Savage says. "He's probably a nice guy, but his time is come and his time has gone."
He adds, "I am the heir apparent to afternoon drive on the east coast and around America on Cumulus stations, which have the most powerful stations in the radio world."
While that's yet to be confirmed, it does seem like Hannity is indeed on the outs. Sources tell Medialite and Politico that while Hannity is expected to part ways with Cumulus, Rush Limbaugh -- whose radio program was also on the chopping...

Sources close to conservative television and radio host Sean Hannity tell Mediaite that last night’s “prediction” by conservative radio host Michael Savage, that he would be inheriting Hannity’s broadcast slot on Cumulus-owned stations in the coming weeks, was the last straw. The host wants out of his contract with Cumulus and, in particular, his professional relationship with Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey.

Over the past half-year, a lot has been said about MSNBC's open shift away from breaking news coverage into straight-up progressive political commentary. It's no secret that the network's talent roster is now unabashedly liberal, but it's interesting to recall that, a decade ago, the network had a significantly different face. How different? Well, consider this: Between 2002 and 2004, you might've watched an MSNBC show hosted by Alan Keyes, Tucker Carlson, Jesse Ventura, Pat Buchanan, or Michael Savage.

Chris Brown, this has been a difficult week for you, with a Los Angeles judge revoking your parole and the mayor of Halifax dissing you, but reaching out directly to your fans was smart for two reasons.
Chris Brown, Thank You For Being Great To Your Fans
First of all, you have millions of devoted Team Breezy fans — 12.8 million followers on Twitter alone — and they are always eager to hear from you. But reaching out to them to explain how you’re feeling and what you’re doing, And to thank them for their support, can only help to bond with them.

Radio host Michael Savage is offering current Republican presidential nominee frontrunner Newt Gingrich a bit of an indecent proposal: $1 million to drop out of the race for the nomination. And Savage is a Republican - his whole reasoning is that Gingrich cannot defeat President Barack Obama in the general election.
Savage posts on his website:
The most pressing issue before America today is defeating Barack Obama. And that is something Newt Gingrich cannot do. For weeks on my show, I have enumerated the reasons why Gingrich cannot succeed in an election against Obama:
When he was Speaker of the House, Gingrich failed to deliver on his so-called contract with America. He made ads with Nancy Pelosi promoting the false theory of global warming. He's in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens. He's taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, two of the most corrupt financial institutions in history.

Rightwing talk show hosts finally get to grips with the phone hacking story
Bill O'Reilly
Bill O'Reilly finally lifted the veil of silence that has shrouded the hacking scandal involving News Corporation, which owns Fox News. It is unclear why he waited until Tuesday, (the same day that Rupert Murdoch had to eat humble pie during a British parliamentary investigation) to finally mention the scandal that has dominated coverage on every other major network. Perhaps he felt compelled to respond to a memo released by the watchdog group Media Matters, which O'Reilly to uphold his oft-stated commitment to "independence" from News Corp's influence or perhaps the anchor was concerned that he could jeopardize his status as "the most trusted political reporter in America" if he failed to even acknowledge a major news story just because it involves the company he works for.
Anyway, whatever his reasons, he finally decided that...

When Keith Olbermann launched his MSNBC program eight years ago, he attempted to assemble a witty, fast-paced, post-ironic look at the day's news. Then he got angry.

As his indignation swelled-fueled by George W. Bush, the Republicans, the Iraq war and Fox News-his ratings ballooned as well. Olbermann's abrupt departure Friday demonstrated, in a very real sense, the limits of anger as a tool of television. The same fervor that draws cheers from partisan viewers almost invariably leads to clashes with the people who sign the checks,...

Jackie Mason appears to have traded his career as a legendary comedian for one as a professional Obama-hater for right-wing website WorldNetDaily. Certainly, Mason has forsaken his humor for venom -- asserting that Obama has "plans to destroy America" and "can't tolerate the thought of the word of religion in his presence." Mason has also said that Nancy Pelosi "looks like a deranged pig in heat." Mason has been a right-winger for some time -- in 2004, for instance, Mason called "the whole Muslim religion" a "murderous organization" that teaches "hate, terrorism and murder." Apparently approving of such statements, Wnd began running a column by Mason and his partner, Raoul Felder, in 2007 (a column that previously appeared at the right-wing Jewish World Review website).
