Gabrielle Scharnitzky, german actress of east-prussian decent, will soon be appearing in Roland Emmerich's highly anticipated first streaming series "Those About To Die" (TATD). Since the 90's Scharnitzky appeared in numerous, most of them long-established German TV Productions, i.e. "Polizeiruf 110" (Police Call 110"), "Usedom-Krimi" ("Baltic Crimes"), "Der Alte" ( "The Old Fox"), "Ein Fall Für Zwei" ("A Case For Two"), "Großstadtrevier", "Mordkommission", "SOKO Potsdam", "SOKO Stuttgart", "Ein Starkes Team", "Wolffs' Revier", and many more. Her biggest recognition in German television came with playing salty antagonist SOPHIE VON BRAHMBERG in the famous German version of "Ugly Betty" known as SAT1 Series "Verliebt In Berlin" ("Thats life") airing two seasons (2005-2007), it gained the German TV Award & Rose d 'Or 2005, was sold to 27 countries and is still aired in loops to this day.
Gabrielle is based in Berlin. In her free time she follows her second passion and teaches Integral Acting to actors and people from all walks of life. She loves to write, paint and create photo paintings. Her charity work spans over many years supporting TERRE DES FEMMES as an Ambassador for Women Rights.
