- Austrian-born Tommy Schobel is a multi-faceted composer and musician whose accomplishments include work for feature films, television, commercials, and albums. Tommy's first successes occurred in his homeland of Austria where at the age of twenty he gained chart success with his band that led him to touring Europe with a multi-platinum recording artist. After graduating from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Tommy joined Harald Kloser, with whom he collaborated on a string of notable scores for European feature films and television series. During this time he also ventured into songwriting, composing tracks for such recording artists as Falco, Toots Thielemans, Al Jarreau, and Jose Feliciano. Moving to Los Angeles, Tommy's knack for catchy tunes led him to one of L.A.'s foremost commercial music houses and composing over 100 ads for brands like Adidas, Nike, Mountain Dew, Coca Cola, Verizon and Nintendo. Breaking out on his own, Tommy teamed up with legendary disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder to produce remixes for Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer and Blondie, as well as contributing scores and songs for television series and blockbuster movies grossing over $2 billion worldwide. Tommy currently resides in an old Los Angeles neighborhood with a dog, a cat and a wildcat. One of them is his girlfriend. Meow!- IMDb Mini Biography By: Thomas Schobel
