Hilarie Burton met husband Jeffrey Dean Morgan after her exit from One Tree Hill in 2007, but it could have been much sooner.
On Monday's new episode of the Drama Queens podcast, Burton dished that Morgan auditioned for The WB/CW teen drama and would have played a pivotal role.
“When I met Jeff, he was like, ‘Oh, I auditioned for that show.’ I’m like, ‘Wait, what?’ My husband, Jeffrey, auditioned for [Craig] Sheffer‘s part,” Burton revealed, confirming he almost played Keith Scott.
“He was like, ‘Yeah, you know, I liked the whole gritty garage guy, that edgy thing.'”
The actress had a hilarious take on the matter:
“Had Jeff shown up in those tight jeans that Sheff was wearing, I would have definitely had kids earlier!”
Burton and Morgan found their way to each other thanks to Morgan's Supernatural costar Jensen Ackles and Burton's One Tree Hill costar Danneel Harris.

Hilarie Burton could have been co-stars with her now-husband Jeffrey Dean Morgan on One Tree Hill years before they married, she recently revealed. The actress, who played Petyon Sawyer on the hit teen drama for six seasons, shared that she just found out about this missed opportunity. "You know when I met Jeff, he was like, 'Oh I auditioned for that show,'" she spilled on the Drama Queens podcast on the June 28 episode. "'And I was like, wait, what?' And my husband, Jeffrey, auditioned for [Craig] Sheffer's part." Sheffer played mechanic Keith Scott for the first few seasons of One Tree Hill. "He was like, 'Yeah, you know I liked the whole...

This weekend's "Mr. Peabody and Sherman," a feature-length, 3D animated film from DreamWorks Animation, is already notable in the sense that it's the first film based on characters from the classic series "The Rocky & Bullwinkle Show" that doesn't look like it's going to be a huge financial disaster.
The spritely story of time traveling dog Mr. Peabody (this time voiced by Ty Burrell) and his "pet" human Sherman (Max Charles) is adapted from the "Peabody's Improbable History" segments of "The Rocky & Bullwinkle Show," and was directed by Rob Minkoff (it's his first animated feature since a movie we've never heard of called "The Lion King").
With "Frozen" finally exiting theaters and "The Lego Movie" losing some of its staying power, it looks like "Mr. Peabody and Sherman," a brightly colored, lively movie that will probably rake in some big box office. The premise is appealing and a number of parents...

Let’s face it. We can’t hide it. We all have those movies that we like that others would shun. These are guilty pleasures: the ones that aren’t that great but we love for some reason or another. Here are mine. Be sure to list yours in the comments, if you’d like.
Last Action Hero (1993)
Rotten Tomatoes: 38%
Actors: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Austin O’Brien, F. Murray Abraham, Art Carney, Charles Dance
Director: John McTiernan/Writers: Shane Black and David Arnott
Here’s the thing: I will defend this movie’s concept till Doomsday. A movie about a kid with a magic ticket that gets pulled into an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie? Genius concept. Yes, the kid is annoying. Yes, the movie doesn’t reach the heights of a McTiernan/Black team-up as well as one might think. It’s interesting to note that McTiernan isn’t working as much...
