Father, Sidney Sealey, was a bodyguard for Malcolm X and a Golden
Gloves boxer.
The number Sealy wore with the Timberwolves at the time of his death
(No. 2) was retired by the Timberwolves, the first number ever to be
retired by the team.
Played professional basketball for the Indiana Pacers (1992-1994), Los
Angeles Clippers (1994-1997), Detroit Pistons (1997-1998), and
Minnesota Timberwolves (1998-2000)
Drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the first round (14th pick overall) of
the 1992 NBA Draft. Owned a business that produced ties and clothing
which used a design of playbooks in jest of his carelessness of leaving
the Indiana playbook at the airport during the playoffs.
Survived by parents, Sidney and Ann Sealy and by his wife and son.
