Walter Sear was an early associate of synthesizer inventor Robert Moog. Sear not only used his Moog synthesizer on a number of movie scores (Midnight Cowboy, Let's Scare Jessica To Death), but also helped to develop the famous electronic musical instrument, acted as a sales representative, and even wrote an instructional book on synthesizer techniques.
