Sometimes, when words fail you, you have to turn to memes. And that’s exactly what Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts did when addressing the news of Omarosa Manigault Newman’s promised tell-all story following her White House departure.
“She said she has a story to tell, I’m sure she’ll be selling that story,” Roberts said Thursday on Good Morning America, adding: “Bye, Felicia.”
“Bye, Felicia” is a quote from the 1995 movie Friday that has since become a popular meme used as a dismissive farewell.

Australian actress Tania Zaetta has been forced to suspend her charity efforts after authorities found she failed to properly register her organisation.
The Bollywood star is the sole director of Peace for the Children (Pftc), which has been the subject of an investigation by officials at the Queensland Office of Fair Trading since March.
Authorities have found the organisation was not properly registered and a solicitor for the charity, Clinton Smith, has now confirmed the body will be shut down. He also blamed a slip-up on Zaetta's behalf for the documentation problem.
Smith tells the Sydney Morning Herald, "This was an oversight on Tania's behalf. The charity is a charity. It wasn't registered under the Collections Act to raise funds (and that) was an oversight. (Zaetta) had all the accounts audited and she voluntarily went to the Office of Fair Trading... (Peace for the Children) won't reform... all the assets of the charity will be given to another charity with the express intention that it will continue on with the same projects (Zaetta) aligned herself with."
Zaetta hit headlines last month after allegedly becoming embroiled in a fight at a nightclub in Southport, Queensland.
The 41 year old has pleaded not guilty to charges of obstructing police and causing a public nuisance and is due back in court this week (beg09May11).

Paul Blom, one of the organizers of South Africa's HorrorFest, dropped us a line with news about another project he's involved with: "Virus", a music video by Cape Town-based, female-fronted industrial-metal band Terminatryx that has been expanded into an even more involved short film entitled "Marked".
"Virus" was born in October 2009 as a werewolf transformation promo clip produced by Blom and Sonja Ruppersberg for their HorrorFest film festival (est. 2005). It was directed by Paul and starred Sonja.
A woman finds an unmarked envelope on her doorstep containing an old Betamax tape. She digs an old player from her cupboard and views it. A full moon appears on screen - and things get hairy(!)
With a very tight shoot of a single night for the original promo clip, some of the prosthetics by Clinton Smith from Cosmesis could not be utilized. So, in mid-2010 they loaded up and headed down the...

One is already at a disadvantage when tackling a remake of a movie which has gained classic status. To touch it means accusations of sacrilege from those who remember it for the impact it had on their lives, in whatever way. A great advantage when attempting such a daunting task, however, is having the creators involved.
In the case of Rogue Pictures’ new version of The Last House On The Left, these include original producers Sean S. Cunningham and Wes Craven (plus the latter’s longtime production partner Marianne Maddalena)—horror heavyweights to say the least. The filmmakers were adamant not to make this a cheap, flashy chiller, but were firmly focused on conveying a similar sense of terrifying realism to that which gave the original its impact.

Rogue Pictures and Universal have released early images from The Last House On The Left, the remake of writer/director Wes Craven and producer Sean S. Cunningham’s classic 1972 shocker, and we also got ahold of a messy gore shot; you can see them below the cut. Craven and Cunningham are among the producing team on the new feature, which has yet to be assigned an official release date.
