- Dan Haggerty (Grizzly Adams) gave him the name "Tallboy" back in the early 1960's. He is still called Tallboy by those in the film industry.
- Moved to Canada to work in film in 1988, trained animals and did stunts, before becoming a member of IATSE local 891 where he's worked as a set costumer. He now lives on a lake in Northern British Columbia with his wife Carol. (1988)
- Lee lost his beautiful wife Carol to a stroke, he remains in Northern BC, Canada where he works on the occasional film. He is a volunteer fireman in a rural community and first responder with the fire department. (October 2008)
- Lee was close friends with actors Dan Haggerty (Grizzly Adam's) and actor/stuntman Robert (Bob) Tessier for years up until their deaths.Both Dan and Bob also very good friends, did incredible leather and wood work.Both actor's did bike stunts and built bikes for film's they worked in.very talented craft's men.
- Has been an active falconer since he was a teenager and still has hawks today. His present bird is 30 years old.Member of Bird Studies Canada.
- Was the head chauffeur at Bob Hopes daughter's wedding ( Linda Hope ) met her husband, to be while working at Western Costume Company and was asked to drive them to the church and back to Bob Hopes home in Toluca Lake, California. He was to drive them in a Rolls Royce, said it was fun and was rewarded well for his work. he wore a period chauffeur's costume which was liked by the bride and groom.
