For actor Dan Stevens, who is almost unrecognizable as the Beast in Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast, one of the unexpected benefits in taking on the role was the fact that he could “freak out” his kids with some of the accessories he acquired to play the part — specifically, a set of fangs he had made.
“I used the fangs in the pre-production exploration to find the voice, to find the shape of the mouth,” Stevens, 34, tells People. “I did get to take those home and play with those and yeah, freaked my kids out a bit.

Matthew Crawley may walk down the aisle with Lady Mary on the show, but his real-life wife is expecting their second child -- congrats! Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens and his wife Susie Stevens will be welcoming another baby soon! The actor, 29, and his wife, 36, already have a two-year-old daughter named Willow Stevens. The couple met while they were starring in English plays back in 2006 and married in 2009. Susie was six months pregnant with their daughter when she walked down the aisle! "I don't think there's ever a right time to have kids," Dan tells The Daily Mail in a December interview. "I’m actually pretty glad it’s happened quite young." Dan adds: "Willow’s birth was just extraordinary. She didn’t cry. She was quite silent and just lay there. The first noise she made was this sort of Do, re, mi sound." Best of luck to the expecting parents!
