- He has held many titles in his career, with the first being NWA National Television Champ, August, 22, 1980, Atlanta, GA and his last and current title being BCW CAN-AM Tag Team Championship With Cyrus, October 10, 2001, Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada.
- He has been a professional wrestler since 1980. He retired from wrestling in August 1995 and worked behind the scenes in various aspects from creative writing to booking both in WCW and WWF. Since March 2001, he has been wrestling for various independent federations around the USA and Canada, as well as in July 2001, he joined the creative writing team of Smarks. He also writes a weekly "perspective" column with Smarks, called Taylor Made Thoughts.

- His father was an obstetrician-gynecologist, Paul W. Taylor, Jr., M.D. in Vero Beach, Florida.
- Was the booker in WCW that came up with the idea to push Bill Goldberg's undefeated streak. Eventually Goldberg won the World Title from Hulk Hogan, and lost it at Starrcade 1998 to Kevin Nash. Taylor was against the idea of Goldberg losing to Nash, thus ending his undefeated streak.
- During his time in the WWF, was a constant target of backstage ribs from Tommy Billington aka the Dynamite Kid.
- Was originally considered for the role of 'Mr. Perfect' in the WWF.
