Women's magazine Cosmopolitan has come to Vietnam. Parent company Hearst Magazines, in partnership with Vietnamese publisher sun Flower Media and supported by Hanoi Media Association, has launched the glossy in Vietnam this week with the April 2010 issue.
Its overall theme and spirit will stay true to its American flagship, targeting 20 to 35-year-old working urban females. Its content will also include topics about relationships, fashion, beauty, health, and career.
Cosmopolitan Vietnam will be including local content unique to the nation's way of life. It will first be distributed in the capital Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with an initial print run of 20,000 at the cover price of Vnd 29.800 each or less than a dollar. Tran Nguyen Thien Huong has been tapped as managing editor.
