Timothy Tremper attended Pepperdine University in Malibu CA, from 1986
- 1990. He dropped out of college when he got a first job in the
industry as a reader for executive Rico Cattani at MGM. In 1992 he
moved back to his home country Germany to work as a runner for Luggi
Waldleitners production company Roxy Film. He worked as 2nd and 1st AD
up to production manager mainly for German TV movies and series shoot
in foreign territory. In 1999 he formed his own production company, TTD
Checkpoint Berlin Film productions. Under that banner and with two
partners he produced six feature films. Due to the financial collapse
of Senator Film, who didn't distribute the "Planet B" series, Tremper
decided to pursue his career without the back up of any partners. Since
2003 he is a freelancer writer and producer. He lives with his wife and
children in Germany and England.
