Aruth Wartan was born on June 23, 1880 in Nakhichevan, Russian Empire [now Azerbaijan]. He was an actor and producer, known for

Trivia
In the Nazi era he played small roles, particularly Russians, in propaganda films such as Attack on Baku (1942).
Aruth Warthan was married with the actress Lu Synd.
Around the turn of the century he briefly lived in Japan before relocating to St. Petersburg.
The height of Aruth Wartan's career followed in the 20's where he impersonated numerous roles in popular productions.
He graduated from high school in 1898 in Tbilisi, Georgia, and then briefly studied medicine in Kharkov (now in Ukraine).
