The Step by Step cast reunited at 90s Con on Sunday and remembered the late Suzanna Somers.
Patrick Duffy, Staci Keanan, Angela Watson, Christine Lakin, Christopher Castile, Jason Marsden and Sasha Mitchell honored their late co-star, who died in October of breast cancer.
“Suzanne gave the most beautiful, thoughtful gifts and she was a person of immense style and glamour in her real life, and I will never forget [that] and I still have them,” Keanan shared (via People).
Lakin said she always admired Somers growing up and watching reruns of Three’s Company.
“Growing up with her and watching her as a woman, as a businesswoman, as someone who was a huge star who had a bright light, who was so gorgeous, who was also so down to Earth and someone I just really admired,” Lakin said. “She was someone that made me think as a young female in Hollywood, you...

Tgif, ABC's storied, family-friendly block of Friday night programming, gave us harmless TV that some would argue has amounted to classic programming: Full House, Perfect Strangers, Hangin' With Mr. Cooper and Sister, Sister all originated in that Friday block, which ran from 1988-2000 (with a resurgence from 2003-5). When I heard that ABC was revamping Boy Meets World in a spinoff series called Girl Meets World, where onetime teens Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) raise their titular teen daughter together, I vroomed my motorcycle in approval like Jonathan Turner. Still, this raised a question: What other Tgif classics deserve a spinoff series?
Here are five options I'd be most psyched to see. Cross your fingers for a Patrick Duffy cameo.
Step By Step: Dana and Karen's Garage Salon

Wine brand Lindauer, which depicted men as pathetic cry-babies without their girls in a recent TV ad, has launched a follow-up effort in print, with a tactical media buy in the social pages of New Zealand’s Sunday Star Times.
The campaign was by Ddb New Zealand.
In September, Lindauer released a TV ad that portrayed men are hopeless when their loved one leaves them to their own devices for a girls’ night out.

Men are hopeless cry-babies when their loved one leaves them to their own devices – even for just a night – an ad for wine brand Lindauer by Ddb New Zealand suggests.

As a young teenager, I tuned into Step By Step every single week. And when the series — a 1990s version of The Brady Bunch — became syndicated, I watched the show every single day after I returned from school. But despite having dedicated countless hours of my life to the Lambert-Fosters, I must admit: With the exception of a fuzzy memory involving Carol’s beauty salon being burned down, I cannot recall one single episode of Step By Step.
Now, that’s not to say I don’t remember the Lambert-Fosters. Rather, I spent far too much time thinking about the fictional family.

SAG yesterday released the official list of candidates for its upcoming national board elections. Notably, all of the open seats in La (the Hollywood Division) are held by MembershipFirst members, which means that, as was the case last year, Mf can at best maintain its level of representation on the national board. More likely, it will lose some of its board seats.
On the Hollywood divisional board, Mf could gain or lose, as all division seats are up every year. This contrasts with the national board, where approximately 1/3 of the 69 seats are up in any given year. The president and secretary-treasurer, who are ex officio members of the board, have two-year terms, and are not up for election this year.
Ballots in Hollywood and New York will be mailed on August 24 with a return deadline and tabulation on September 23. Election results are expected to be announced that evening.

Los Angeles (August 4, 2010) – Screen Actors Guild today released the official list of candidates for its upcoming national board elections. Ballots for all eligible members in Hollywood and New York will be mailed on August 24 with a return deadline and tabulation on September 23. Election results are expected to be announced that evening. Approximately 1/3 of the total 69 national board seats are open for election this year. The Hollywood Division will elect 13 national board members and 22 alternates. Twelve (12) candidate positions will be seated for a three (3) year term and one (1) candidate position will be seated for a one (1) year term (all national board alternates serve for one year). The New York Division will elect 5 national board members and nine alternates. Each seat is for a three-year term (all national board alternates serve for one year). Directors holding nine other national board seats will be elected from SAG Branches outside Hollywood and New York.

The SAG Board met yesterday and re-affirmed actions already taken in writing two weeks earlier: the ouster of former National Executive Director Doug Allen and the replacement of the negotiating team. That action paves the way for resumed contract talks with the studios, which are expected to start next Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 17-18, according to sources and other media reports. Negotiations will probably continue over a period of a few weeks, as a significant number of issues remain.
The Board’s vote would appear to render moot a lawsuit filed last week by SAG president Alan Rosenberg. However, according to a source at yesterday’s board meeting, Rosenberg’s Membership First faction argued that yesterday’s board meeting was itself invalid because it was called by the interim National Executive Director, David White, who was appointed by the written document that Rosenberg’s lawsuit deems to be invalid as well.

The controversial MembershipFirst faction of SAG announced Friday a slate of 33 potential candidates who will vie for openings on the national and local boards and go head-to-head with the newly formed opposition group, Unite for Strength.
Among the actors looking to fill Hollywood's 11 national board seats and 22 local seats are 11 new MembershipFirst candidates, including Scott Bakula, Keith Carradine, Charles Shaughnessy and Joely Fisher. Also on the slate are 22 incumbents to the board, including JoBeth Williams, Joe Bologna, and Lainie Kazan.
The announcement of the candidates comes a day before a crucial SAG national board meeting Saturday and two days after Unite for Strength announced its intention to contest seats held by those in MembershipFirst. Unite's 31 candidates include Amy Brenneman, Kate Walsh and Doug Savant.
MembershipFirst came to power in 2005 and currently dominates the Hollywood board, holding the majority of seats as well as backing current president Alan Rosenberg. The group is the controlling voice in the SAG contract negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers, which is currently at a stand still.
Unite for Strength blames MembershipFirst for its hardline approach to the negotiations as well as its anti-aftra sentiment, which led to the unsuccessful campaign to get members to vote down the sister union's primetime/TV deal with the AMPTP.
In its announcement, MembershipFirst said its goals for the coming year include uniting "all actors under the Screen Actors Guild banner, protect actors wages and working conditions in all areas, fight for residuals in all media platforms, protect the right of every dues paying member to vote on SAG issues and to secure complete jurisdiction in new media."
Unite for Strength's main goal is to merge SAG with AFTRA, something the MembershipFirst faction has bitterly opposed in the last two attempts in 1999 and 2003.
