- Producer/director Donna Deitch directed a documentary about Gwen's illness and subsequent death. Diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in 1992, she opted not to take the conventional treatment route, and the film shows her gradual deterioration. Shot on video with a later transfer to 16mm, this film was shown at the 1998 Berlin Film Festival.
