The Netflix series As the Crow Flies is a story driven by the two most significant characters in it. One is the protagonist, Lale Kiran, the renowned TV personality and news host for the broadcasting channel MON5, and the other is the antagonist of the story, Asli Tuna, a greedy student journalist who entered the network as an intern and began scheming to eventually replace Lale. Amid the major conflict, some other characters in the story became integral parts and changed the whole course of the story. Yusuf Tunca, a field reporter and informant working for MON5, was one of them. Yusuf was not a very important character in season 1 of As the Crow Flies, while in season 2, he eventually became the one to win the battle of power and claim the throne.

Turkish Netflix series As the Crow Flies came back with another season, shedding light on the aftermath of Lale Kiran’s resignation from her broadcasting channel MON5. Season 2 of As the Crow Flies is all about the constant competition going on between Asli and Lale Kiran, which takes a toll on both their professional and personal lives, but at the end of this unequal battle, Asli learns that karma is a terrible thing.
In the previous season of As the Crow Flies, Lale had resigned from the network, and Asli secured her position as a new TV anchor for the network’s program “The Other Side”. However, the public didn’t appreciate Asli as much as they used to love Lale when she was the host of the show, so to make the show more captivating to the audience, Asli restructured the entire program while also changing the setup. This article contains spoilers for "The Marvels."
Introduced in the 2019 film "Captain Marvel," Goose is a mysterious, voracious alien creature called a Flerken, a being with uncountable tentacles that can snatch full-grown adults from their feet and swallow them whole into its tiny stomach. Goose swallows many victims in "Captain Marvel," and reappears as the good Captain's aloof pet in Nia DaCosta's new film "The Marvels" to swallow even more. The main joke of Goose is that when it's not grabbing its prey, it looks like an average-sized orange tabby housecat. In "The Marvels," Goose is achieved mostly through CGI, but is also played by the real-life cat actors Nemo and Tango.
Later in the film, Goose lays hundreds of Flerken eggs all over a space station. When they hatch, the station is overrun with hungry, hungry kittens who snarf down much of the crew. Don't worry. It's all done to save their lives.

This year we’ve had three multiplex visits to the realm of the “Distinguished Competition”, so you didn’t think the MCU would end 2023 with treks into Quantumania and Knowhere (hangout of those Galaxy Guardians)? Oh no, Smilin’ Stan wouldn’t want the fifteenth anniversary of the Studio to conclude without one more adventure. And it’s a sequel to a 2019 film that introduced the cosmic Carol Danvers, while also being somewhat of an expansion of her saga. That’s because she’s not completely going solo as she’s joined by two characters that made their heroic debuts on Disney+. Together this titanic trio is on a mission to save us all as The Marvels.

San Diego Comic-Con is not as a big of a studio draw this year, what with all the striking and general downturn of superhero blockbusters. Origins is a recurring series that gives artists a space to break down everything that went into their latest release. Today, legendary songwriter Yusuf / Cat Stevens takes us behind his new single, “All Nights, All Days.”
Legendary singer-songwriter Yusuf / Cat Stevens has released “All Nights, All Days,” the latest single from his upcoming album, King of a Land. The track boasts a bouncy acoustic instrumental and cuttingly political lyrics, a streak that’s furthered by the gorgeous animated music video.
Leaning more into country rock than the previous King of a Land singles, the track allows Stevens to showcase his versatility as both a songwriter and a performer. He cites the Traveling Wilburys — the iconic supergroup made up of Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty — as a primary influence when it came to the composition and tone of the tune.

Carol Danvers, her supporting cast, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole have all come a long way since our very first tease of Brie Larson's space-faring superhero. Most would agree that the 2019 film did an adequate job of establishing the origin story for the eponymous Captain Marvel, tying together her Air Force background, a test flight gone horribly awry, and her subsequent team-up with a young, pre-eyepatch Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) against the perceived threat of the shapeshifting Skrulls and the sinister Supreme Intelligence. After saving the world once again in "Avengers: Endgame" and making brief cameos in both "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" and "Ms. Marvel," the Disney+ series starring Iman Vellani as the lovable Kamala Khan, we've yet to see the energy-blasting superhero back in action ... until now.

A trio of mighty Marvel heroes find their powers mysteriously merged in the first teaser trailer for the Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels.
Fan of the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel already got already got a hint of what’s going on in this latest Marvel Cinematic Universe; that series ended (spoiler) with the young Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) activating her powers only to find herself forcibly switched with a real Avenger, Carol “Captain Marvel” Danvers (Brie Larson). It turns out there’s a third super-powered person tied up in all this, as Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris of WandaVision) is also getting suddenly swapped.
Monica has been working with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) at the S.A.B.E.R. space station, so of course he’s going to keep his eye on the situation.. Because amidst all this physical freaky Friday stuff, the Kree appear to be up to something Kree-like,...

Ringo Starr rarely hesitates to call it like he sees it, even if he’s the target. Yusuf / Cat Stevens cut his drumming from an album, and his reaction to the slight was pure class. So when Ringo complimented Brian Wilson’s work ethic, it was massive praise from The Beatles drummer to the Beach Boys frontman.

Ringo’s excessive drinking was such a problem in the mid-1980s that he played a concert with the Beach Boys and has no memory of it. Thankfully for him and music fans, he committed to a healthier lifestyle and continued making music. The drummer also inspired another legendary musician to get sober.
He was in a much better place in the early 1990s. In 1992, Ringo released his first solo album since 1981, Time Takes Time,...

You know what you’re getting with Ringo Starr. As a musician, he proved to be a groundbreaking drummer and one of the best to ever hit the skins in a rock ‘n’ roll band. As a person, Ringo’s sharp and funny but deeply emotional, as he revealed when Paul McCartney threatened him in 1970. He’s also self-aware. Ringo’s reaction to having his drumming deleted from a Yusuf / Cat Stevens album says everything about The Beatles drummer’s personality.

Ringo hardly slowed down when The Beatles broke up. He released four solo albums by 1974 and played on George Harrison, John Lennon, Stephen Stills, B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf, and Harry Nilsson in the early part of the decade.

Yusuf / Cat Stevens has readied his 17th album, King of a Land. The LP arrives via BMG / Dark Horse Records on June 16th, while first single “Take the World Apart” is out now.
Stevens began working on King of a Land way back in 2011, recording with longtime producer Paul Samwell-Smith in bits and pieces at studios in Berlin, Brussels, London, and the South of France. Understandably, the artist calls the finished product a “mosaic.” “Looking at the jagged journey of my music, beginning as I did in the 60’s, I would say this new record is a mosaic,” Stevens said in a statement. “A very clearly defined description of where I’ve been and who I am.”
In addition to streaming, King of a Land comes on exclusive white vinyl and a green vinyl package featuring a 36-page booklet of illustrations from cover artist Peter Reynolds. The CD version of...

Glastonbury Festival has released a new line up poster that shows Lana Del Rey listed higher up than she was in the original version.
The festival recently came under scrutiny after Emily Eavis announced the remaining headliners after Elton John, revealing that no women would headline the event this year.
Guns N’ Roses apparently replaced a female headliner who pulled out, while Arctic Monkeys were also announced to headline the Pyramid Stage.
Lizzo, who will perform ahead of Guns N’ Roses, has been given a double headline billing with the US rock band.
Announcing the news, Emily Eavis preempted criticism of the lack of headline diversity, saying it was “pipeline” problems that related to the all-male headlining line-up.
At the time, many have questioned why Lana Del Rey, who will be playing the festival, wasn’t higher up on the line up posted.
This included criticism from Rey at the time,...

Yusuf (f.k.a Cat Stevens) has spent much of the past decade crafting his new album King of a Land, and he’ll finally reveal it to the world on June 16. Ahead of the release, the artist shared the video for its lead single, “Take The World Apart” on Wednesday.
“Looking at the jagged journey of my music, beginning as I did in the 60s, I would say this new record is a mosaic,” Yusuf said in a statement. “A very clearly defined description of where I’ve been and who I am.
