William Randolph Hearst and the New York American, claiming that the newspaper destroyed his wife Anna's physical affection for him by printing his photograph beside one of a gorilla - as an argument for the theory of evolution. The caption read, "Stanislaus Zbyszko, the wrestler, not fundamentally different from the gorilla in physique." Stan was awarded $25,000 by the court.
