Psych celebrates its 100th episode tomorrow night.
And in honor of the occasion, we've gathered together a list of reasons why we adore this beloved USA Network hit, from Yin/Yang to - what else?!? - Gus/Shawn.
Read along below and jump in with your favorite moments from the first 99 episode of Psych...
The Yin/Yang trilogy. I have never been more on the edge of my seat during a cable television show, engrossed in the fate of its characters. The writing pair of Roday and Berman. The minds behind the Yin/Yang trilogy, these two really threw us for a loop with “Yang 3 in 2D.” I am still trying to figure out why you made Yin who he was as a person (not just that he was played by Peter Weller). They, too, really indulged the crazies on that one. Catchphrases like “Suck it,” “You know that’s...

USA‘s Fairly Legal is a show that didn’t click with me right away, and that’s something pretty rare when it comes to USA efforts. It was a little too interested in its own gimmick, and played to hard at selling the “mediation as character trait,” angle by which it was trying to develop, not only the main character, but all of the characters she ran into.
But, it’s also a show that has, I think, taken on the idea of working through the flaws and stumbles, and developed quickly into a show that presents a very different persona (as a show) than what we had during the first few episodes.
I want to give you a little preview of the next episode, which involves Kate getting in a little too deep with a corporate whistle blower, but I also have a great Prize Pack available for one lucky winner.

You probably know that I’m a huge fan of Psych, and while the last few episodes have been really solid, there hasn’t seemed to be as much chatter about the spring return. So, I’m giving you a preview of the next episode, and reminding you to tune in.
The episode is “True Grits,” and it looks like another winner.
Something’s cookin’ in Santa Barbara. An impassioned chef, played by guest star Anthony Anderson, seeks restitution after his robbery conviction is overturned by The Innocence Project, and he’d like Shawn and Gus to help find the actual culprit.
Check-in via GetGlue for their chance to win an exclusive Psych Arcade and iPad!
Check out some clips and images below, and do not miss new episodes of Psych.

It's hard to believe how long ago it was that I first interviewed James Roday, and even then he was hinting at wanting to do a vampire episode. It's finally here, and tonight's "This Episode Sucks," is everything Psych-O's could hope for.
Tonight at 10pm on USA, not only do you get a vampire episode, which is cool enough on its own, but the episode features guest appearances by "retro vampires" Kristy Swanson and Corey Feldman.
What's more, you get some interesting spins on the Psych world in this episode that was written and directed by Roday, and perhaps the most interesting is Lassie going along with the vampire theory.
As if that weren't enough, James Roday will be chatting live during the east coast broadcast, and you can jump in and ask him questions.
This is a great episode, and you don't want to miss a single second,...

Psych returns tonight at 10/9c, and the hit show isn't slowing down this season. Still loaded with incredible guest stars and pineapples, it's as fun as ever, and somehow still comes through fresh as the first season. Of course, even I have to admit that a couple of episodes last season went a bit off, but there were also some amazing efforts in there, and this season is kicking off with some brilliant shows.
Tonight's episode, "Shawn Rescues Darth Vader," brings us guest stars Malcolm McDowell and Polly Walker, and gives us not only a good case, but throws us right into the heart of the relationship/work troubles sure to arise betweeen Shawn and Juliet. The case finds Shawn stuck in a rather serious predicament, and one that means he has to get unusually specific in his predictions, which raises its own red...

USA's new dramedy Fairly Legal, starring Sarah Shahi (The L Word), Michael Trucco (Battlestar Galactica) and Virginia Williams (How I Met Your Mother), premieres tonight at 10 p.m. Sarah plays Kate Reed, an ex-attorney who now does mediation. She works for her father's widow (played by Williams) and has just divorced her husband (played by Trucco). The series' creator Michael Sardo does a nice job mixing comedy and drama within scenes, and has definitely taken the necessary steps to set the show apart from the sea of legal dramas on current television. We spoke with Sardo about the characters, the guest stars, and the pressure of creating a show.
We wondered why viewers would tune into this show with so much similar fare available, and asked Sardo if he has an idea of who will tune in? He replied, "I go from the point...

Psych returns to USA tonight at 10/9c, and you don’t want to miss this episode. Not only do we get the return of Cary Elwes, but the show has saved a very strong episode for its November comeback. Though a huge fan of the show, a few episodes this season have not, Imho, been quite up to what we as fans have come to expect.
There are other reasons that you definitely do not want to miss this episode, no matter what, and I’ll just leave it at that, although the following interview sort of gives things away. James Roday and Dule Hill were on call for a press Q & A recently, and it was the wild time it always is.
Have fun!
In the season premiere “Extradition II,” Shawn and Gus return to Vancouver to visit their old nemesis Despereaux (returning guest star Cary Elwes) in prison at the felon’s request,...

You’ve probably already heard me say that Psych has let me down once or twice this season. It’s still easily one of my favorite shows, but a couple of episodes struck me as not quite being up to par. Last week’s episode delivered the goods, and tonight’s summer finale One, Maybe Two, Ways Out is among the best the series has produced.
With Nestor Carbonell returning, and Franke Potente guest-starring, things take a spy turn, and Shawn and Gus are knee-deep in a complicated situation they don’t really understand.
The action is turned up, Shawn can’t figure out who to trust, and the new man in Jules’ life isn’t helping him concentrate. Of course, he may be distracted by a couple of other 80′s guests, but this isn’t an episode that leaves him a lot of downtime to get his bearings. Shot at,...

I have to come right out and be honest, and tell you that, as huge a fan of Psych as I am, one or two episodes this season have let me down a bit. I’m not absolutely sure why that is, but I think that we have come to a point in the show where overplaying the general doubt in Spencer’s abilities is actually annoying.
Much like the oft-compared (even rather brilliantly within the show) The Mentalist, or something like House, after the first dozen or so times our heroes turn out to be right, it would be nice if the rest of the cast opened to the idea that they might be right.
Despite my misgivings about a couple of episodes, you don’t want to miss the next one. With not only Lost‘s Nestor Carbonell, but also Tears for Fears‘ Curt Smith appearing both in...

Psych is now three weeks into Season 5 and we've already seen a Kung Fu episode and a tap dancing episode. Pop culture junkies like us tune in to Psych just to see what obscure references they'll put in each week's episodes. And in an interview with series creator Steve Franks and star James Roday, our pop culture heroes, was no different. Right from the get go, they were spewing out pop culture tidbits from Clouseau to Tears for Fears. Read on to see what they had to say about Axe body spray, going boneless, Twin Peaks, and more, and tune in to Psych Wednesday nights on USA Network at 10:00 Pm.
Q: How the Juliet relationship is going to change now that your father is in the police station?
James: You know what, I’m wisely and sagely yielding all Juliet questions to Steve Franks.

Chicago – USA has undeniably become the network of summer TV entertainment and they finish off their slate of debuting and returning shows with the season premiere of the fan-favorite “Psych.” Considering it’s one of the networks more reliable hits, it doesn’t take a mind reader to predict that not much has changed in the world of Shawn and Gus.
Television Rating: 3.0/5.0
The USA Network used to be content with one or two summer hits but they’re clearly moving in the direction where they’ll have a whole week of programming before long. With “Burn Notice,” “Royal Pains,” “White Collar,” and “Covert Affairs” all airing new episodes in July, the return of “Psych” almost seems like a statement from the network — forget one night a week; we want you to tune in Every night.
