There are many lessons to be gleaned from Season Two of The Traitors, Peacock’s smash hit reality TV competition based on the parlor game Mafia: 1) that you should never drink from an ominous-looking rusty chalice, particularly if it has been offered to you by a notoriously cutthroat former Survivor contestant; 2) that virtually everyone looks cool in emerald-green velvet cloaks; and 3) that Peacock has an insanely high budget for both breakfast pastries and Alan Cumming’s headgear.
Perhaps the first and foremost takeaway from this season of The Traitors, however,...

London, Aug 15 (Ians) English football club Arsenal on Tuesday signed Spanish goalkeeper David Raya on a season-long loan from Brentford Fc with the option to make the move permanent. The 27-year-old has been an integral part of the Brentford team in recent seasons, and played in all 38 of their Premier League matches last season.
He will provide competition for England keeper Aaron Ramsdale and wear the number 22 shirt.
“I’m over the moon to be able to take this challenge in my career and make the step up. I’m really excited to get going and see how the season ends up. I spoke to the boss and he sent me the values of what Arsenal are about. The way that the club is going, it’s growing even more so it is a beautiful challenge to take and I couldn’t say no,” Raya said after putting pen to paper.

London, Aug 14 (Ians) Manchester United suffered one of their worst defeats in Premier League history as Erik ten Hag’s side barely laid a glove on Brentford in a 4-0 defeat on Saturday.
Ten Hag was looking for a response to last weekend’s 2-1 home loss to Brighton and Hove Albion and was able to hand Cristiano Ronaldo a start, but all United got was a humiliation, reports Dpa.
David de Gea was at fault twice as Josh Dasilva and Mathias Jensen put Brentford two up inside 18 minutes, before Ben Mee and Bryan Mbeumo ensured Brentford became only the third side to put four past United in the first half of a Premier League game.
While the Bees could not inflict further misery on Ten Hag and United, it mattered little as the damage was already done.
