Adrián and Ramiro García Bogliano's strangely enticing abduction flick Penumbra (review) is headed to DVD on August 28, 2012 courtesy of IFC Midnight and Mpi Media Group. The picture's already earned high marks from plenty of noteworthy media outlets (Bhm included) thanks to some eerie writing, a couple excellent performances and a strangely satisfying finale. The film stars Cristina Brondo, Camila Bordonaba, Berta Muñiz, Arnaldo Andre, Diego Cremonesi, Mirella Pascual and Victoria Witemburg. The highly respected Franco Burattini handles the special effects work.
