Earlier this month, art director Aaron Garbut revealed Rockstar Games was not able to include a “huge volume of plans and ideas” in Grand Theft Auto V.
“As a group of people, we’re never short of ideas. There are always things that come up during development that you want to add. Often we do, but the closer you get to release, the less that happens. I don’t feel like the game fell short, but there is undoubtedly a huge volume of plans and ideas that we wanted to do to push it further.”
For a game as big and as expansive as GTA V, these lack of additions to the top-selling open world sandbox game perhaps went unnoticed to some gamers, but others were plain to see.

After waiting four years since the releases of GTA: The Lost and Damned, Chinatown Wars and The Ballad of Gay Tony, the much loved series is back, with the extremely highly anticipated addition – Grand Theft Auto Five.
The three new characters are Franklin, Trevor and Michael, where you can play in a Los Santos, which according to art director Aaron Garbut is bigger than the worlds of Red Dead Redemption, San Andreas and Liberty City combined, making it by far the biggest so far to date within the GTA series, and offering players a whole new level of realism and exploration with the huge map available.
To add to the realism, Rockstar have even recruited real gang members to create authenticity within the game’s audio. GTA presenter Lucien ‘Lazlow’ Jones said on Chicago’s Wgn radio station:
“we go towards authenticity […] In the game there’s these rival gangs.
