Pablo Jókay was born in Switzerland and spent his formative years in Munich, Germany. Following the successful completion of his vocational training for his Ensemble Director Certification at the top of his class in 2016, he finished his bachelor's degree in Composition for Film and Media at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München (University of Music and Performing Arts Munich) under Prof. Gerd Baumann in 2020. In 2023 he completed his master's degree in Composition for Film, Theatre and Media at the Zurich University of the Arts under Prof. André Bellmont, Niki Reiser and Olav Lervik.
Pablo has written music for a student-oscar-winning short film, animated shorts (for one of which he won an award for "Best Soundtrack" at the Animatou Film Festival), feature length documentaries, video games and radioplays. His work for the award winning composers Diego Baldenweg, Nora Baldenweg and Lionel Baldenweg includes an Australian TV-Series and an Irish Thriller starring Liam Neeson.
