Selena Gomez is leaving her home kitchen behind and heading out into some of Los Angeles’ hottest kitchens in a new Food Network show.
Selena + Restaurant, premiering May 2 on Food Network, will take viewers into the kitchens of six buzzy L.A. restaurants.
The cooking skills Gomez gained during her Max show Selena + Chef — where master chefs help the pop star and actress learn to cook — will be put to the test by some of L.A.’s best chefs including Shirley Chung, Keith Corbin, Stephanie Izard, Andrew and Michelle Muñoz, Wolfgang Puck and Marcel Vigneron.
Over the course of six episodes, the Only Murders in the Building star will be tested by the chefs in the hopes of creating a new dish for each restaurant’s menu. Gomez’s best friend Raquelle Stevens, a contestant on Selena + Chef, will accompany her throughout the show.

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. We’ve got week one of the Spring Breakin’ special(s), so let’s get straight into it and see what went down in this episode…
Match #1: Nxt Women’s Champion Triple Threat Match – Roxanne Perez def. Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt Women’s Championship remains with “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez as the champion retained her title in impressive fashion against both Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley in a Triple Threat Match. The bad blood between former friends Valkyria and Paxley sparked a major battle between the two to begin the match, all while the champion looked on and smiled. Once Perez entered the fray, the action became chaotic as all three Superstars threw caution to the wind, punctuated by the demented Paxley tossing both of her opponents hard to the ringside area.

Match #1: Axiom def. Nathan Frazer The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
A hard-fought battle between two of Nxt’s best highflyers went the way of Axiom as he bested Nathan Frazer in a fast-paced match-up.The speed of both Superstars was on full display as was their athleticism, as Axiom’s moonsault to the outside was soon one-upped by Frazer countering a top-rope maneuver by hitting a twisting neckbreaker. One hesitation by Frazer opened the door for Axiom, who hit a scintillating Spanish Fly and followed that up with a perfect Golden Ratio to win the friendly matchup.

As the SAG-AFTRA strike concludes its first full week, its economic impact has been felt beyond the industry hubs of Los Angeles and New York City. With talent unable to promote projects or make personal appearances, studios including Marvel, Universal, Sony and Netflix have pulled out of this week’s San Diego Comic-Con, representing millions of dollars in lost revenue to local businesses that have thrived on convention traffic.
In years past, car services have been in high demand during the annual convention, shuttling talent between hotels and the convention center for panels and photo shoots as well as other press opportunities and public appearances around town. Studios and networks that brought large ensemble casts for big productions like “Avengers: Infinity War” and “The Walking Dead” required a large fleet of cars and drivers.

The company, founded by producer Aditya Chand, is headquartered in Singapore with operations in the U.S. and Japan. Two film projects are already underway and a third with “Slumdog Millionaire” star Frieda Pinto is in development.

“Yellowstone” actor Barry Corbin opens up about his battle with oral cancer in a new interview with People.
The star, a real-life cowboy who is known for his trademark Texas voice, tells the magazine: “There was a spot in the inside of my cheek that didn’t go away. It came back that it was cancer.
“I already knew what it was. I hadn’t discussed it with anybody, but I knew,” the 82-year-old adds.
Despite Corbin being in his 80s and his recent health struggle, he’s showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
He’s set to star in the series “Tulsa King” alongside Sylvester Stallone, as well as Martin Scorsese’s 2023 flick “Killers of the Flower Moon”, also starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Jesse Plemons.
Corbin figured he’d finish filming “Tulsa King” then get the surgery done, but filming got behind schedule and...

Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly, which follows a successful (and good) pay-per-view, Crown Jewel. So let’s see what went down this week!
Match #1: The Bloodline def. Matt Riddle & The New Day The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Just five days before their history-making clash, The New Day and The Usos clashed but with Matt Riddle and Solo Sikoa joining each respective team. The Original Bro paired well with The New Day, delivering tandem offense that wowed the crowd. Sikoa, however, dismantled Kingston on the announce table. Riddle took down The Bloodline with ripcord knees, penalty kicks and Brotons. The down-to-the-wire bout concluded with Riddle nailing an Rko before Sikoa dispatched Riddle with the Spinning Solo.

Match #1: Finn Bálor def. Karl Anderson The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
During Finn Bálor’s matchup against Karl Anderson, Dominik Mysterio jumped on the apron to interfere and drew the ire of Aj Styles. This ignited all-out chaos outside the ring between The Judgment Day and The O.C., and Rhea Ripley hurled Luke Gallows into the ring post before delivering an earth-shattering body slam to him onto the ringside floor. Meanwhile, inside the ring, Anderson picked up Bálor to try to put him away. A distraction by Dominik, though, allowed Ripley to deliver the low blow to Anderson that helped Bálor to pick up the three-count.

Starz has renewed its drama series P-Valley for a third season, which will consist of 10 episodes. Lionsgate Television produces the series.
From creator, showrunner and executive producer Katori Hall, P-Valley is an hourlong drama that tells the story of the little-strip-club-that-could and the big characters who come through its doors – the hopeful, the lost, the broken, the ballers, the beautiful and the damned.

Match #1: The O.C. def. Alpha Academy The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After their triumphant return last week, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson had their first match back in WWE, facing off against The Alpha Academy. The biggest members of each team in Luke Gallows and Otis collided in the ring, registering high numbers on the Richter scale. Otis continued to play spoiler, stopping The O.C. from hitting the Magic Killer, which lead to a brilliant back-and-forth between Chad Gable and Anderson.
